I'm thinking... no, I'm wishing... that my baby doesn't decide to do his thing 2 days from now on my Son's 6th birthday. Having both my boys share the same birthday when they're not even twins would be really crazy.

Two of my cousins (brothers) share the same birthday one year apart. They hated that they didn't get recognized individually. Sort of like me and Thanksgiving...two separate holidays, MOM! *glares in her direction *

But, my brother was smart! His two boys are three years apart, and he gave the oldest a little brother for his birthday. They've always shared and are super close!

No, actually it would really be kind of cool because you could make a big deal out of one big birthday party with two birthday cakes and gifts for each boy. Your oldest would think it was cool at first and then as he got older he'd be loving other people's reactions. Your little guy would be just fine because his big brother would be his hero.

I see what you're saying, and it would be nicel if they were cool with it... but if that was to happen, I worry about them getting jealous and resenting each other later on. Maybe I'm just over reacting.

I'm thinking they're going to be so close together...might as well!
