Y'all can see by my signature that I go by genderfluid, which to oversimplify means someone who is on the spectrum somewhere between casual crossdresser and actively transgender. For brevity, we'll leave it at that.
Decades of self doubt and discovery preceded the light bulb moment when I discovered that term and its definition, and one would've aptly labeled me a crossdresser 15 years ago. I was ashamed of that, though I shouldn't have been...that's just how shame works.

Moving on. I've about 10 years life experience since figuring this all out (though I do yet evolve), and have been in contact witha great many people from all over the gender queer spectrum.. Been involved in group discussions, how to forums, ogled pretty pics, shown off...all of it.

A common thread among those who dabble in feminine wares is "I can't tell my S.O., they'll leave me" or variants, such as "how did you tell your S.O.".

I hate to sound elitist, but in my anecdotal experience, which includes the experiences of all the gurls with whom I've had contact; those who can communicate well, by and large, are in relationships. Those who don't...aren't, or they're deeply closeted and lying, if only by omission.
I will draw a distinction there, as successful marriages become less common when a partner goes full time and transitions medically, as sex is undeniably a part of the puzzle.

Finally, the point. Just added another to the ignore list this morning. Idiotic pm's which exemplify that person's lack of acuity in communication, never mind still reeking of misogynistic entitlement vibes. And they wonder why they're 60 something and lonely.

Bottom line, this thing which affects me just isn't a deal breaker for all women...maybe not even most women. I have no clue on the stats, and if there are stats, they're irretrievably skewed by contact with mouth breathers like the one I just blocked. Bad apples/ batches, garbage in/ garbage out, et al.
No matter what your kink, affliction, superpower, whatever; if you present that as your only defining attribute, the hunt is not going to be successful.
All those things should be adjectives and adverbs, not the noun with which you define your existence.
