Full moon and partial eclipse tonight. Blizzard tomorrow.

It's a highlight reel kind of weekend.

More bang for your buck sounds more like a slogan for a brothel than one for a fast food restaurant.

If the ex is yelling at the front door, and the dog is barking at the back door, who do you let in first ?....................the dog of course, it will shut up when it gets in. *gets hat and leaves*

The first coffee of the day is always the best. Particularly when it’s extra big and extra hot.

i have no appreciation of this sentiment. i’ve never been a coffee drinker. truth. i have plenty other addictions as it is.

She did... and I'm proud of her accomplishment. Good job, MsLead. :)

I'm pretty sure she said over the course of 12 years....

Yep....that's my point to those who diminish small changes. I keep making little changes over years and years with no surgery or expensive programs. I want to be an example to others of what you can do. Dropped my BMI from 45 to 27 over 12 years...2008- 2020... only 23 lbs to my normal weight goal. Just saw my doc and doing fabulous at 58. Never give up!:kiss:

To be honest, I generally only have one a day. Either first thing in the morning, or before a shift. I do get a headache if I don’t, so high five for not getting on the bandwagon! :)

Stress is when you wake up screaming and realize you haven't fallen asleep yet.

We the people fight for our existence
We don't claim to be perfect as little by little i would give you everything you ever dreamed of Little by little your life will slowly be getting better and little by little you have to give it your all and all the time I just ask myself why

I had a dream that someone I want to talk to sent me an online message, and that my internet was going so slow as I went to reply, that they thought I wasn’t around and logged off. Now I’m awake, and my internet is going slow for some reason. Hmm... a premonition, or self sabotage sleep walking style?. :confused: ;)

So she has been fucking up her metabolism for 12 years and that is your defense of her statement? 😐🙃😶

If you do the maths, 114 pounds over 12 years is 0.8 pounds a month lost. To do that, you need only consume on average around 90 calories a day less than you use*. That's more like foregoing a biscuit with your coffee than fucking up your metabolism.

She's taken it slowly, kept her healthy habits over 12 years, and her doctor is delighted with her. I'd say that was a great success story :)

My hat is also off to you, MsLead :rose:

* 0.8 pounds lost in a month is 3500 * 0.8 = 2800 calories, or 93 calories a day.
