If you could Freaky Friday with any Litster, who would you choose?

Feels kind of strange that I don't have to get up in the morning and get ready for work.

A Christmas Carol is a heartwarming tale about how rich people must be supernaturally terrorized into sharing.

Trying to figure out a plausible fiction I could construct that would allow me to go hide in a motel for the next week.

It takes all the facts to get a true picture of the crime.

It’s cookie baking day!

But first it’s coffee drinking morning.

Is that more or less festive than Boxing Day?

And, for a Brit or Canuck to answer: why is it called Boxing Day?

I'm American, and I have always assumed that family members get in the ring and go at it for a few rounds to find out who can take a punch.

So glad the cakes turned out well!! Will be decorating them tomorrow, after work. Still have to work out a gluten, dairy and soya free filling for one of the cakes

You would think after 6 years my exes friends would know he no longer lives here and would update his address.

Trying to work out how to use melted chocolate as a cake filling. Do I have to let it cool down before spreading it on the cake? Some sources online suggest it would become too hard... but wouldn’t that make cake eating difficult?

I don’t eat cake or chocolate, so this is all new territory for me.

Ganache. Heat some cream and melt chocolate into The scalded cream. 1 part cream to 4 parts chocolate for a stiffer mix, and 1 part cream to 3 parts chocolate for a slightly softer mix.

The difficulty is that I can’t use any gluten, dairy or soya at all. So I’m really clueless for what to do! I’ve got two layers of cake, and no idea how to fill them, considering the dietary restrictions

The reason that it feels good to be in a shower, but bad to be in the rain is consent.

<3 Nestle Simply Delicious chips are gluten and dairy free <3

Chocolate layer
1 ¼ cups bittersweet chocolate chips (about 60% cacao content is perfect)
1 can (14 ounces) regular coconut milk, chilled at least 12 hours
¼ cup maple syrup or honey, to taste
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Dash of salt

Meanwhile, to make the chocolate layer: Gently melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler or in the microwave in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring after every 30 second interval. Let the chocolate cool for 15 to 20 minutes, so that it’s still warm enough to mix with the coconut cream, but not so warm that it melts the cream.

To finish the chocolate layer: Once the chocolate has cooled, open another chilled can of coconut milk. Scoop the condensed coconut cream into a clean, medium-sized mixing bowl. Add the semi-cooled chocolate, sweetener, vanilla and salt. Using an electric hand mixer, beat the mixture until it is smooth and somewhat fluffy. Taste and add additional sweetener if desired, keeping in mind that once chilled, it will taste slightly less sweet.

Chill at least 1 hour before serving <3

a fruit compote would work as well.
