If your microwave is working, you can still do a lot that you might normaly make in the oven. I'm always running late for family gatherings and I'm always supposed to bring the green bean casserole.

Drain and dump in into a glass bowl 2 cans green beans, one can cream of mushroom soup, 3 Tablespoons milk, 1/2 cup shredded cheese and 1 small can french fried onions. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and cook in the microwave until the cheese is melted and it's hot all the way through. It won't be browned on the top but other than that... yummy.
(You can substitute canned peas for the green beans and add a couple of cans of tuna for a quick, easy tuna casserole)

Thank you for the tips! I was really hoping for some advice :) I might have to try that, I’ll be grocery shopping tomorrow, thank you :rose:

It seems like forever and a day since the last time I watched it myself. Hopefully you'll find it online but if not most public libraries have a DVD of it available for borrowing.

Thanks. My mom may or may not have that on DVD. I'm going to check with her first. :)

Any time. I've been without a working oven many times... If you get your burners back, I can tell you how to bake cupcakes in a pot of boiling water. (yes, I've been cupcake desperate and done it. And yes, they turned out okay)

The refrigerator is one of the first places I check when I can't find my keys.

Almost everything that is useful to me on a day-to-day basis has a creepy way of migrating to the floor underneath my bed. I'm beginning to believe I subconsciously hide things from myself in my sleep. :rolleyes:

I can bake a cake on a gas barbecue grill!

Now you’re beginning to sound like a magician! :D

I’m so clueless on all this stuff, I only just started getting to grips with basic stuff, so when something unexpected happens I’m pretty lost lol!
