The girls were dressed like bridesmaids, the boys were dressed in whatever godawful rental tux was still available at the one place in a small town that rented tuxes because they'd waited too long to rent one. Disco was on life support, but The Clash had not yet reached most of us. It was an awkward time all around. Fortunately the teachers and parents looked the other way when it came to flasks and joints.

Today things are going a lot better than they were yesterday. I cried a lot yesterday and cried some in my sleep when I was thinking about my brother. Ended up getting some good sleep and got some allergy medication. It's been raining here literally everyday. So far today I'm watching The X-Files and having a very lovely day!
Glad you are doing better. Never got into X-Files. Watched The Mandalorian latest episode and wish my job wasn't so full of lazy people.

It takes about 4 hours to cook artichoke and even then, the only edible part must be scraped off with your teeth. Someone a long time ago was really fucking determined to eat artichoke for some reason.
