Cocaine is illegal because of it's high potential for abuse and addiction. You are putting yourself at risk getting high, which could cause long term problems.

Claiming that incest is wrong because of pedophiles are out there is a complete non-sequitur. Incest and pedophilia are mutually exclusive, which is really difficult for some people to grasp.

The other thing people bring up is power dynamics, but that's also mutually exclusive.

Incest CAN be bad in some cases. But that does NOT make it inherently bad. Sex that would be considered "normal" can be bad, too.

Let's say you have two groups:

Group A: Two gay adult brothers who want to have sex. They have safe sex. Is that bad?

Group B: One adult man and one adult female who are not related want to have sex. In the morning, they realize that they were really fucking drunk and high off of cocaine to make a responsible decision. She gets pregnant. Because she grew up in a good Christian household, she doesn't believe in abortion. So, she has the kid.

Group B is a pretty fucking awful situation, but it's normal compared to Group A in the minds of morons like UgliestSon.

Rhode Island and New Jersey (okay, I may have move now) are the only two states in the United States where incest is legal. However, neither state allows close relatives to marry. Also, this situation only applies to consenting adults. If one of the partners in an incestuous relationship is underage, then the sexual act becomes illegal.
