What Are You Thinking? Continued 5

The weighted blanket has proven to be worth it's pricetag over the last few weeks. It's helped my mind to quiet down so that I can sleep, I've slept deeper, and feel more restful when I wake. Con- when I do have a nightmare, I wake with a jerk and struggle against the weight of the damned thing. It takes a few minutes to realize it's not some "monster" or obstacle restraining me...

I’m always looking for a better nights sleep....having invested in Airpurfiers, sleep number beds, self forming pillows..
Now I’m thinning,
Does this really work?

I love my weighted blanket, I got it about two years ago. Not only does it help me sleep, but it also helps during an anxiety attack.

It helps with mine, too.

Now I’m thinking I need to google weighted blankets

If you get hot easily, it's not for you. I've only been able to use mine regularly over the last few weeks due to dropping temps. They're cheaply available at Walmart and Target now. Mine is a pricier version from Amazon that came with two washable covers.

If instead I did push ups every time I looked at porn or jacked off, I would look like Dwayne Johnson

(Except for the chiseled Polynesian good looks. You get my point)

Yes!! When I wake up in a nightmare of drowning and have to fight my way out of my blanket it makes it feel that much more real!

Mine is from Hush and it has a “cool touch” cover. I won’t say it was a cool blanket in July, but it was somewhat manageable through the summer months. I think they sell the cover separately now.

I would invest in a good one that is designed to evenly distribute the weight throughout the blanket and is the appropriate weight for your body/needs. It is worth it in the end, IMO.

It's a struggle to think about the emptiness.
The feeling of it
The wondering and probability that it will always be there
And how I will never be able to write it away
Or success it
Or depress it
Out of my life

I try not to think about it.
I seek out things that let these thoughts fade
Because if I don’t,
They take over...
Which is good for my writing,
But not good for my soul.

I just found out that Burger King is called Hungry Jack’s in Australia. Hmmm

Just had another minor personal disappointment. Time to go to the gym and work it off.:D

I'm thinking I may not have a lot of real friends on here, but for the ones that are, I feel very grateful and lucky.

Why do the men getting help on Queer Eye have terrible beards and JVN keeps them on their faces. Ew.

I don't think that you give yourself enough credit for having as many genuine friends on here as you might suspect. :rose:
