I actually worked at the one in the neighboring city! (Until they decide to pull out of the state - then worked for the bastardized version. 😁) was my first job!

How funny! My house is around the corner from where the one on Main Street was. It sat empty for years after it closed. I remember hanging out there on Friday cruise nights. :)

The one I worked at is now a Japanese restaurant.

And I know exactly where the one in your town is. Mom isn’t too far from there!

I'm worried about my mother. She's been crying a lot this week over the death of my brother. Doing everything I can for her but I know I can't take away her pain. Planning on drawing something for her and framing the art piece for her.

I’m sorry. :(

That sounds lovely.

I was there when my brother passed and I had to make the phone call to my mom. I felt her pain as she tried to comfort me.

Be strong for her. She will draw strength from those around her.

I'm so very sorry for the loss of your brother. I've been there...twice. Sometimes the hardest part is watching our parent's suffering. You seem to be very sweet, so I know you will be there for her. Sometimes they just need to weep...but try to get her involved in life around her as soon as you can...while giving her space and time to heal. My sincerest condolences. :rose:
