I skip people sometimes. I don't mean to, but I type slowly on my phone and sometimes it happens. If I notice, I go back. But in abc threads, that screws it up even more. Lol. Quite often, I just pop in for a few minutes and leave, though, so I don't notice at all. So for the record, I'm sorry if I ever skipped anyone.

Now...the people who will go back 20 posts in a "litster above you" thread...those I lose patience with quickly. ;)

Bingo! Posting to a person they want to post to because you aren’t worthy. lol That’s what my comment was about. Not the technical screw ups.

I’m super slow when responding too. I also don’t mean to skip anyone. I don’t feel like it’s usually intentional when it happens to me. But it is frustrating. I just try to not take anything too personally.

I agree that no one deserves to put up with anyone's bad character, but I tend to feel sorry for those who treat me poorly. It doesn't happen often, but they also are people not to take seriously. People who act rudely and belligerently are unhappy, or are just not that good at their core.

Rather than take it personally, try to see that they've just exposed something that IS genuine to who they are. They've got a bit of user in them and now you know and can act accordingly.

This to me just sounds like an excuse to be shitty to someone..sorry not sorry!
 
Sometimes I skip people who were the last person simply because they are on ignore. There may be times that I simply walk away from the thread, but if it's been hours or days, I'm going to post to the last person above me who isn't ignored. *shrugs*

Ohhhh, that really pisses me off when I see that. :mad: Talk about being rude. I so want to tell that person off when I see that happen, but I don't. I just don't bother going in that thread anymore until I know that person is gone.

It is so annoying. I personally just like to believe they have blocked. I can say showing tits still means skips, not sure about sob stories. I hope if you test your theory that your sob story will be bizarrely creative and oddly intriguing.

I click preview post before submitting. Then you can see if someone else beat you. Limits the overlap to just a second or two. Though I have also had to step away from threads because people kept beating me, retype, preview again, damn it, try again, damn, I give up. I really need a bigger phone or something.

I want to thank you for backing up my theory. This was a what are you thinking thread. I didn’t ask for any advice. In the future Iwill keep my thoughts to myself and do fake like everyone else. THANKS!

That is not as prevalent anymore. There was one guy notorious for going back 20-30 minutes to skip a guy to respond to a gal

Yes, to all of the above. I’m super slow at typing and I usually only pop in for a few minutes at a time, so I may not notice if I accidentally skipped someone. Honest mistake.

I don’t get annoyed when I’m skipped over on purpose as I do when I see it happen to other people. It really doesn’t bother me, but I feel badly when I see it happen to other people. Helloooo, just multi-quote if you really need to interact with someone 20 posts ahead. Or send them a PM.

I stopped taking that stuff personally a long time ago. I mean, sure...sometimes that stuff makes you go, “hmmmmm”. But 99% of the time it’s nothing personal. I doubt that anyone is thinking “Yessssss! Finally my chance to slight emsway!”

Or are they? :D
