Ghosting is the cowardly way out. And it's fucking rude.
ETA...that applies to friends as well as love/lust interests.
FYI: I was once a ghost, but then I got better. True story

This.
Although, I've been guilty of this in the past. That's on me. But I've learned to be better.
Sorry I missed this last night.
I’ve been making my own laundry detergent for years. I like the fact that there are no (or less?) toxins, harsh chemicals, and overpowering perfume scent. And of course it’s better for the environment. I also sorta get off on the whole DYI, kinda-sorta pioneer woman vibe I get from making it.I make enough for about six months at a time.
I’m going back to invisible mode, getting way too many random one line pm’s from strangers I’ve never seen on the boards
I'd thought you mentioned doing so on the board, sometime in the distant past. I'm very much into reducing toxic load. Do you make a straight liquid laundry soap, or do you add a touch of natural detergent like Sal Suds?
I've yet to try either, primarily due to all the conflicting opinions on whether the natural soups result in buildup on clothes and washer.
Thanks!![]()
I was just thinking the same thing especially after last night!?!?
I make a powder. Lasts longer and takes up less room!
So a powder soap? You don't have any problems with the dreaded *not detergent* buildup?
Too many differing articles out there. I am so confused!

Not really. I have store bought detergent that I use once in a while to avoid that. But I don't like all the perfumes.
Grated soap doesn't dissolve well. You need to put it through the processor.
What if it’s a friendly ghost?
Ah. So and occasional detergent run deters the problem. Good to know.
By processor, you mean the food processor, correct?
(I can't imagine what else it would be, but seems prudent to ask.)
You'll have to convince me, Casper. Lol.![]()

Yep. Food processor. Just watch when you open it up at the end. I got a nose full of powder the first time. Sneezed and coughed for an hour.
Wait for ems to chime in. I'm sure she's got better info. She's been doing it longer than I have.
I'm trying to be more active without being too active. What's the balance?

The power of hugs is vastly underrated.
People need touch, hugs especially.
Especially me.
Funny...I was thinking the same thing but this Wimbledon final is just so good I can’t stop watching....
