I think about this every time I see a “Piano store” - are there so many people buying pianos that people actually make a living as piano salesmen?

Receiving a gift I love and then hearing how the person was actually given the choice of item for themselves - but got one personalised for me instead So sweet!

Sitting here shocked and unsure how to react (yes I said thank you lol) because it’s so rare anyone does anything for me, I’m used to giving, not receiving! It’s such a weird feeling, there were almost tears hehe!

I remember one time, around seven years ago, someone gave me a Christmas present at work. I blurted out “thank you!” In shock, then turned around and literally ran away I probably caused such confusion! I’m at a loss when it comes to receiving gifts!
