Lucky you. I can't go to the shore this weekend, unfortunately. I hate the parkway.

I know if we leave anywhere close oast 9am what would normally be an hour drive for us will be 3 hours of bumper to bumper aaaand then to look for parking ?!??! I know it'll be packed this weekend but it should be with the temperature going that high!!

My kiddos are thinking water park but I prefer the beach ummmmm plus it's a lot less expensive too haaaa

Sorry about not being able to go this weekend but then again it's probably best that you give your skin a rest. You almost got burnt this past weekend!?

Ugh, the parkway. Was on it with my Mom Sunday with traffic from toms river all the way to 123

It was like that with us, too. Route 9 was even worst.

We usually go to Point Pleasent but we're coming all the way from Exit 163 so the traffic can be brutal!!! Prior to having hubby and kiddos I'd keep myself entertained with my bf then at least

Nowadays its " are we there yet " for 3 hours

I feel addicted to the Internet because it too often educates me about things I really don't need to learn. I feel addicted to my phone because people feel entitled to spew whatever is on the top of their heads and I feel obliged to respond to them. Both are more troublesome than reading books, writing letters, and having conversations. But then, I'm a grumpy old man.

Next time you gotta find me so you can apply tanning oil on me.. My kiddos cant and wont use it on themselves needless to say helping mommy out??

Love point pleasant. It's so clean there and fun Boardwalk. We go to this one Hotel that actually has free parking. Can you believe that you have to pay for parking at the hotel? We go to Long Beach island. A bit of a haul

My boyfriend lives in Asbury Park. We had originally planned on going to Point Pleasant boardwalk last Sunday so our kids could go on some of the rides; but then we decided it was too hot for that, so we ended up going to a beach that wasn't too far from where my boyfriend lives.

Getting to Point Pleasent anytime in the afternoon it'll be impossible to find parking unless you're very, very lucky. I'm ready to pay $30 or whatever amount just to get out of the car after 3 hours and get my ass on the beach haaaa!!

Hmmmm ....... now I'm thinking maybe a water park isnt that bad after all ??

I know they wanted to make some shows near where I live and the city officials said no, that they don't want them there. I don't think any of them are welcomed in this state.

LOL! I was telling one of my neighbors, a good old boy in the south, that the mother of my children was from outside of South Philadelphia, and her family had a house down the Jersey shore. They were vaguely connected to the mob, but I was never sure quite how.
