What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

When people show you who they are, believe them.

My inbox was bombarded with people defending someone after they were involved with a rather egregious post that was removed. “She’s naive,” “she’s the sweetest kindest person who would NEVER,” “she had been drinking and didn’t realize what the post was about.” Or perhaps, they dropped their mask that night and showed who they really are. The new PMs are now about this person being a catfish. I wish you could see my not-at-all-surprised face.

I’m not a cruel person and I have been on the other side of a Lit person deceiving me (and practically an entire harem of women). I feel for those in pain right now. But I also urge everyone to pay attention to people and try to not be blinded by love or lust. There are sharks in these waters.

The more you love yourself, the more you love other people. The more you love other people, the more they love you. The more they love you, the more you love yourself. Love yourself first, and the rest will follow.
