I completely agree with you, but just yesterday an old lady shoulder bumped me so hard she can race to the counter to pay. And that’s just one instance of many. But I did enjoy people watching on the tubes. Caught a man staring at my phone last night while I used Lit. For few mins he didn’t know what to do

Whenever I go to UK I find people there to be pretty damn friendly and courteous. A few bad apples can spoil anything sadly and I think the problem with some of these big cities are inconsiderate tourists. It’s why I will never probably go to Disney again. A lot NYC is bad about that too.
