Too bad the only one playing with my boobies tomorrow will be the nurse when I get my mammogram.
As much as having a mammogram is a totally sexy experience, that shouldn’t be denied anyone with mammaries, I for one hope the story after is “healthy and clear” as well as sexy.

Wondering if it's my failing that I sometimes can't find anything to say in reply to messages, or if it's that the other person really didn't give me anything to continue the conversation with. Or maybe the connection just isn't there, which means it's incredibly rare for me to have that connection.

That’s the secret sauce isn’t it? It could be the way a sentence is constructed, the use of a particular verb, very often it’s the overall tone of the message you’re responding to or even the ideas contained in the words.
But it’s more complex than that even. How are those words and ideas received? What mood is the reader in the first time they read them.

This as well. If the person can’t be bothered to try to understand what the poster is looking for, why should they reply?
This is valid the other way round too. And women can be equally monosyllabic despite initiating the conversation. Im sure not to the same extent but it does happen.

It is often the tone, but then I worry that I'm inferring that too much, based on more my insecurities or biases than anything else. Thanks
I've found sometimes it depends on my energy level. In which case, I let it sit until the next day and then review it again. If I still can't find anything to say then, it's because that thread of the conversation has died. Depending on the person, I either reply with something totally different or I let the conversation RIP.
That's true, my energy level and mind set matters too... but never thought of just changing the conversation, interesting!
Ugh, those are just ignored because, exactly - they're just cutting and pasting.
Usually the first, sometimes the second.... I hadn't thought of the distinction, but I think it is important. Thanks
