What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

I've been thinking about two different types of guys.

One respects boundaries and that makes you feel like you can relax and just enjoy a conversation.
☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼I have a few guys in my life that fit this definition. Extremely easy to converse with, listens to my "babbling", and genuinely cares about me and understands me as a woman...
One doesn't, so you have to be hypervigilant in everything you say or do - so it leaves no openings. You don't feel safe with this person.

It's tiresome. It's exhausting.
I've also had issues with men who fit this.☝🏼
Harder to chat with, they're usually too dominant, lacking the ability to be a great friend...

Nobody should have to feel obliged to chat to somebody they don’t feel safe around.

When I first came here, there was the usual rush of people in my inbox and I was polite and respond to everybody. I don’t like to offend people so I would chat about general daily stuff. The “nice guys” were the worst. I could be chatting about my day and before I knew it, they had turned the conversation into giving me a massage or bathing me. They back you into a corner where you do feel threatened. I would use humour to deflect the situation and the conversation would end.

If I said that I wasn’t interested in that kind of chat and it made me uncomfortable, they would say they were only joking but they would do the same thing the next time we chatted.
So I guess it is really true
Nice guys do finish last?
