I was just thinking about something I hadn't thought of in years. There was a couple in my dorm, man and woman, who had plans to be married after graduation. The tricky part was that she was determined to stay a virgin until they married. He, on the other hand, wasn't so thrilled with the idea of being celibate for his college years. I don't know if there was a big fight or some sort of bargained compromise or what, but she gave him permission to satisfy his primal urges with a woman of her choosing. I wish i knew the details about how she was chosen, but I knew about the set-up because I was friends with the chosen one. I think she was picked partly because she was fun and laid back, but I think that a bigger part was played by her not being nearly as good-looking as the virginal woman.

Fwiw, I'll add that I advised my friend to steer clear of all this because it was doomed to end in tears. As far as I know, though, everyone involved walked away happy with the arrangement. I thought for sure that there would be jealousy and unrequited feelings. I think it was successful because even though it was all a way for him to get his rocks off, he always made sure that my friend got off, too.
