Oh I do know, but if you felt targeted..
No, in all honesty. - This is something that ebbs and flows, a constant reoccurring thing: how to be the correct way of funny, the correct way of political correct.. quite simply: the correct way to Lit.

And if not, there will be passive aggressive posts en masse! Sometimes directly aggressive posts.

Suddenly you will get judged even more harshly by associating with others. (Everyone will judge everyone, I am no naïve fool, I judge all the time!)

But.. gosh, I come here to vent a bit, to laugh, joking with people that I have found a common denominator with.

And I try, fuck!! I bloody try to close my eyes for all the noise. But sometimes.. Well. This is definitely a me problem - but even the best people can behave like fools, I often do.. and I am not the best people. Still.. well, I might just need a Lit break.

We all have our opinions and our positions in all aspects of life. Their ours and if we own them we should not be judged. If your cup of tea does not fit someone's own perspective so be it .... Move on.

You don't need a lit break ..... Lit members could just give you a break.

That is one of strengths of Lit…the ability to flit in and out as necessary to maintain sanity with…(shudder)…people.

“Sanity” is merely a professional word of judging people...I prefer to judge my own current level of sanity based on the amount of cookies I enjoyed (and how much time I’m on Lit).

I feel for you. There are many reasons why lit occasionally gets to me. Sometimes it simply gets unpleasant.
Other times I find myself litting instead being present in the real world or instead of sleeping sensibly.

It’s a sure sign I need a break. I know I’ll return eventually. Maybe a week, a month …on one occasion about 9 years.

And for the record, I can’t believe for a second that you are ever a dick! You may be one of the most aware and diplomatic people I’ve had the pleasure to chat to with.

I’m sure you’ll do what’s right for you. And that’s all you can do

Well, I’m in a (formerly) very quiet room in a cafe. And listening to an elderly married couple having an argument not meant for such a quiet setting. He has not had sex with the other woman. But even if he had, it’s not as bad as what she did. Did she ever worry about him when she did it?
And suddenly …they are arguing about Manchester United.

And. There are now two bystanders trying to ignore them.

And. Now a woman has phoned him. Full speaker.

And then it’s back to their original discussion and accusations.

I can step away from Lit to escape its occasional craziness. But how do I escape this? Maybe Lit isn’t as bad after all.

I'm getting ready for a staff meeting I will want to escape. Lit's better than the 1,000 "what if" scenario questions I'll have to answer. You know, those people you want to put tape over their voodoo doll's mouth so they will stop talking. Everyone else on the meeting is banging their heads on their desks in frustration.
