What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

Ok then I’m confused 😂
Firefly was the series, space western, really good (per me, at least), but completely screwed in ever way by the network (the pilot, that set the story and world building, that Fox asked to be two hours long, was shown last. Preemptions for baseball, moved time spots -- anything that could kill momentum), and cancelled. Gained fans on DVD, enough momentum that fans started their own funding for a film, and Fox finally got on board with a movie that wrapped up a lot of the story in a satisfying way.

Sorry, I have been described as "explainy."

Ok, I know Firefly, that’s the one I couldn’t get into but forgot the name. Didn’t they name the ship Serenity?

And what movie were you talking about?

Yes the ship was Serenity. The name of what was supposed to be the first episode was also Serenity. Then there was a movie that came out years later that wrapped up, mostly, the plots that never got finished when the show was canceled, which was also called Serenity. Lots of Serenity! 😂

Lol, it's cool. But the show has a huge fan base before when it was Airing. There was a huge fuss kicked up when it was canceled. That was before the societal switch to “nerd” love spawned by Game of Thrones, MCU, and the like.

Serenity Valley was the horrific battle that ended the war by The Browncoats. Mal named his ship after it.

"Once you’ve been in Serenity, you never leave. You just learn to live there."
