Sorry Stacy I donā€™t agree at all about learning something new about a person who you were ā€˜more than just friendlyā€™ with. Thatā€™s ultra creepy and so wrong.
I donā€™t think they owe an explanation to the Lit community but to someone they were more than friendly withā€¦ā€¦yes absofuckinlutely!
 
Or some do it so they can respond to things on the personals board that they wouldnā€™t otherwise

Oh no, it has nothing to do with me. It was just something I was genuinely curious about.
I have posted publicly before that at one point I created another name because I wanted to post in the personals and look for something very specific involving a kink that people who knew me didnā€™t know I had and I didnā€™t want to have to answer questions about it and also not from a specific person who I had a previous relationship with. So I made a post and only made like a total of 3 posts with that name and only in that thread. There were a couple of people who responded who knew me as LW. A couple of them I had no interest in talking to again and one I did. I was honest with him and told him that we had talked before under my LW name and I would like to talk to him again if he still wanted to. I felt like it would be deceitful to talk to him pretending to be someone else. I just wondered if other people felt the same way.
 
The Alt thing is also some sort of ā€œ back in the Lit day ā€œ thing I think when there were actual mods patrolling the threads. For some reason every newbie male has to go threw a Alt test or some sorta hazing in my opinion anyway. Itā€™s kinda ridiculous really.

If you want to study Alts in their natural environment, go to the General boards. I personally call them the breakfast club kids , GB 5 lit mafia.

When I read Pookie early today in a thread , I thought about a GB poster and author that posts there on a occasion with that handle.

To call someone a ā€œ Alt is also some sorta public shunning statement it seems too. If you get called a Alt everyone in the club is suppose hate you , then pile on and post shit about you. , again lit ridiculous.

Iā€™ve learned this in just over a year on Lit. Itā€™s a fucking jungle up in here. Full of man eating felines with claws and they bite.

Alt calling is like crying wolf , the sky is falling or what the fuck ever. Get a grip.

Dribble is my alt. I have been very open with who I am and why I use this account only. I don't even think I know the password to my original account...and I know it was linked to my yahoo account which I haven't used in 20 years.

No one from those years still exists anywhere except the GB on a blue moon.


White knighting? No...sorry...your sword is not bigger than mine. It is reflexive. It is no different than if I am in Walmart and I see a piece of white trash hitting their kid. I step in. Why? Because no one protected me when I was a kid. It has nothing to do with a woman not being able to protect themselves. It has everything to do with me and the triggers that happen reminding me of how it was. Anger...has many faces. And white knighting is just a reflection of that old anger. Lol...chances are when it happens...it happens cause life stressors that no one knows about are raising its head. I do not have "friends" here. I have acquaintances...some of which are really good people. Mess with them...you mess with me.
