Maybe a bit Brit for most of you.......I blame one of my granddads for my musical tastes - he ran me around in his car after school for years and I was in the back seat so I had no say in the music...... now ask me about Slade and Judas Priest LOL.

I even saw David Bowie once when I was 12, in a small club in London at some wharf somewhere that mom and dad took me too when we were on vacation there. It was nothing to do with Bowie, some other Brit group that my dad wanted to listen to and it was pretty small, more of a bar with stage and about 10pm the guy running the place said if you gotta go before 2am leave now, because we have a special guest arriving and we're going to close all the doors and after 10pm nobody gets in or out....

So about 5 past 10 David Bowie jumps up on stage and starts jamming with whoever the band was. Really really cool stuff, and he sang China Girl for my mom. It was really wild - he really was a nice guy - talking to everyone, cracking jokes, singing songs people asked him to sing, just pure entertainment.
