It's cool to read all these and realize how diverse the space of human sexuality is. Amazing how much we find to talk about, given that we're hardly working on the same things at all.

Very intrigued by these and will have to check them out when they drop. Been doing some reading on the Thirty Years War myself as research for a potential future project (albeit in a fantasy world embroiled in its own version of the conflict)

And maybe get into fights with mercenaries from all over Europe. And I want to drop in a few lines like "While nations fought over power, wealth and the right to tell their subjects what to believe."

Been kicking around an idea for a script for the audio/VA crowd.

Lesbian goes on a date with a Bi girl, who describes her M/F sexual experiences so passionately and in such detail - to the point where the Lesbian gets genuinely curious. She approaches a straight male friend to ask him to let her experiment with him and "Try out a real cock one time" She decides in the end she will stick with women, but enjoys the experience none the less.

I also want to get away form the first person narrative and write more in third person moving forward.

Then I had the idea for dialogue, that turned into a follow-up, which turned into a sequel with, as of right this moment, 20 chapters along with a prologue, an epilogue, and two smaller stories that were originally of a piece but make better stand alones.

I would be posting them, but 1) I am having an issue with chapter One.
And 2) I had the stupid idea of each chapter starting with a lyrical epigraph that will be a sort-of soundtrack, and I keep changing my mind.

So far, the description is "Incest, DP, BDSM, and a really good Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto recipe."

I am lucky I have a patient editor.

I enjoy it when it is well done. Steven Brust had some fun with in his Dragarean books. One used made up sayings from his world. My favorite was a list of things to be cleaned or repaired by his cleaners, each of which pertained to what happened in the chapter. Fun.

I've kept plugging away at my first-person present-tense tale, though i still find it vaguely annoying. Slowish going. I'm up to 16k words (out of probably 25-30k total). I guess technically you could say it's near-future scifi, but really it's suspense with with what i hope is a slightly noir-ish feel.

It is rather a remarkable feeling. For me, followed by "oh, crap, I forgot a question mark there!" and resubmitting, but I am sure that is just me.
