What are we all writing right now?

I've got...

- an how to for writing erotica currently with a beta reader.
- a 750-word entry finished and waiting to be published called My Birthday Fetish
- a Valentine's Day entry sitting as a finished draft waiting to be edited (part of what I'm going to call the Hannah has Plans series)
- a follow-up to my lesbian story Almost Perfect on Paper which just needs one more orgasm (and possible a post-match review)
- my first Mature story which is halfway through the sex and may or may not end up in the bin
- a tennis themed story (also part of Hannah has Plans) for which I've written the ending (first) and now the beginning and which probably isn't going to held over for the Sports Challenge as...
- another Valentine's Day entry also in Hannah has Plans whereby our characters have arrived at the story location but I've no idea what happens next, but the story definitely requires the previous story to be complete.
- a story about fairies which part one came back from my beta reader with a very positive comment, but I'm struggling to get parts two and three down.

And the big one
- My April Fools novel which I got to 40k words and basically complete but probably needs another 10k of editing and additional material and which I'd better get cracking on soon.

And, you know some other stuff that I'm not picking up at the moment.

The next I’ll write is a 750 story. Don’t know what about yet, but how hard can it be, right?

We’re also editing our next collaboration with AwkwardMD.

I’m not big on having drafts so I don’t really have anything else on the works. I’m sure I have some text around here somewhere, but they’re not works in progress.

Just the ones I'm actively, albeit very slowly, working on now...

(Not the several dozen waiting for me to get back to them...)

All titles are tentative...

Spa day. I'm actually having some trouble with this. I thought of the scenario - beauty school student needs to bring in volunteer to get their hair cut, all the students do. But he gets there and they don't need a haircut volunteer, they need a waxing volunteer. He gets his junk handled, in front of a few of them, is told he has to be hard for them to do it, etc.

Issue is I've thought of two or three variations and am having a hard time deciding. Wife/gf brings husband/bf, waxes him in front of others? She brings him and teachers go oh, this other student needs a volunteer, so wife/gf's rival at the school waxes her husband/bf? Wife asks unsupportive husband to go but he pawns it off on his brother who then gets his junk waxed by his sister-in-law in front of others?

The Sky Below. A city o floating habits in the atmosphere of Jupiter, characters fly with wing appliances. A loose hab floats up from the unknown depths, they capture it to save it, discover inside thousands of ethereal elfin genetically engineered clones. MC and a clone fall in love, people are prejudiced against the gengineered newcomers, clone takes a dive into the atmosphere (suicide attempt or she takes wings but doesn't know how to use them), MC dives after without wings, no time, planning to use hers when he catches her. Hers are lost. They make love as they plummet through the atmosphere for a long time. Eventually they see the lights of unknown cities in the dark depths of the atmosphere.

Dreamcatcher. Mind control. Guy uses a magic dreamcatcher to manipulate dreams of his crush, have sexual dreams with her. This makes her fall for him in real life. Or does it? He finds himself the one trapped in her dream by the end.

Sperm Bank. Couple having a hard time with clinics go to new sperm bank. Turns out the bank is just one black man ready to help out. He and wife are getting undressed. Wait, I thought this was going to be, like, artificial insemination? From a bank? The bank's all right here, the guy says, hefting his sack. Hubby objects awkwardly that he's black. They are aghast that he would object on that racist basis. No no, it's not that, he says, it's just that it will be so obvious the baby isn't mine. Honey everyone already knows we're going to a sperm bank. Everyone already knows the baby won't be genetically yours. What's the problem? Well okay I guess. Then the guy cums on her face and hubby's like what? How's that going to help us!? Don't worry, I'm just getting the inseminator warmed up a bit first. Etc.

I have over 200k words unpublished :-(

Stuff I'm optimistic about ever finishing:

1. Sweet first time story with some nightmare fuel
Title: Vampires Don't Wait Tables
Description: He's a cryptid-obsessed cook. She's just a waiter. Right?

2. Loving monogamous lesdom with impact play and predicament bondage and body dysmorphia
Title: Rubber doll on a rocking horse
Description: Big, strong woman craves to be made pretty, dainty, helpless

3. Short NC/R revenge romp
Title: Maybe don't wish to fuck the genie?
Description: Or at least get your other wishes done first?

More speculative stuff:

1. Demonic hit woman with a heart of gold
Title: The Summoned Help
Description: Old gangster worries about new girl and what she represents

2. Funny genre-aware lesdom superhero story
Title: Plaid Woman & the Lesbian Dick Ray
Description: Kinky superheroines foil a villainess's mind control plot

3. My first I/T
Title: Eldercare
Description: Lonely senile mom thinks son is husband. Will he play along?

4. Operant conditioning gone wrong
Title: His Mistress's High Heel Training
Description: He likes her shoes. She makes him earn them. But at what price?

5. Service sub obsesses over lonely wheelchair user
Title: A Maid and a Domme go into a bar
Description: Their Halloween costumes reveal more than they intended

Stuff I'll probably never finish but have lots of fun writing anyway:

3. Novella in five parts with a semi-realistic take on a modern matriarchal society with male chattel slavery. Starts with a man being sold to pay his wife's debts and then follows his bumpy rapprochement and eventual romance with his new owner.

4. Novella in four parts in the same matriarchal society. A sheltered boy from a minority (gender-egalitarian) group goes to college in the big city and woos a sadistic domme with his outrageous kinks (like mouth-kissing).

5. Young boy accidentally summons a demon who talks him through the trials of his underprivileged childhood (kind of struggling to fit some sex in there, considering he's underage for most of the story)

Working on:

1. My first requested story review. Should be out within a week.

2. Another incest story. This one is not especially adventurous, but it's fun and I think it's decently written.

3. Lesbian sex story for the Pink Orchid event. This will be one of my most ambitious stories because it covers a subject way outside my comfort zone. It may be my most sober and serious story yet.

4. I may or may not get a BDSM/rope play story done for the Valentine contest. I'm inclined to think I WON'T get it done because the three projects above all have priority over this one.

I'm writing a five-chapter romance between rich sorority girls. Already finished chapter 1 and 2 and waiting for my VE to review it, and I'm finishing chapter 3 today.

Also, I had a dream about having sex in a magical school infirmary, so I already made a draft and will totally write it once I'm done with my sorority series.

Nothing.

I've stated so often that I think I've written my last story, and been wrong so often, that I won't say it again.
But my stories are all recordings of fantasies, and at age 79 my fantasies are getting increasingly fewer and farther between.

So I do enjoy finding really good stories here on Lit now and then.

The next I’ll write is a 750 story. Don’t know what about yet, but how hard can it be, right?
In my experience, and that of writers close to me, writing short is a lot harder than writing long.

I'm sincerely hoping that there's an actual interactive beta going on and a launch sometime this year, since I'm currently 14k words deep in a choose your own adventure title for the launch.

It would suck if that ends up being a feature that gets launched 5 years from now.

After two hard true-noncon bondage stories I tried my hand at a bit of lesbian romance (with a dash of BDSM). I started writing and couldn't stop, overslept for work after staying up until 3 AM. It's currently in Pending and has been for a week, hoping for the best.

Anyway, this got me started on a combined machines/exhibition/lesbian couple story, blending everything I'm learning at the moment. It's so hard to write a relationship! So much harder than an unwilling sub/evil domme... But also much more gratifying when a scene or a dialogue comes together.

I’m currently working on the latest installment of my “Kate” series, I may only have one more of those to write to finish that series off.

In the planning stages are sequels to my Halloween contest entry.

Once those are done and published I may need to come up with a new series to start (although each series is part of an overall series).

Blog entries for several bloggers, podcast scripts (also for other people), rewrite scenes in a story for a mystery (not my own), and make notes for my publisher on one of his upcoming releases. For me to put here, or to have for sale, NOTHING! :( Unhappy about that. The fact I'm making money, :nana:.

Completed and awaiting publication-

"When Keith Met Stephanie". First Time, about a hookup between two savvy computer nerds at age eighteen in the Internet's early days. Approved and should post tomorrow. :D

"Girls Dorm Gathering." My Pink Orchid Lesbian Orgy story that follows up my earlier triptych stories "I Want You", "The Sisters Next Door", and "Girls Dorm Blues" uniting all the protagonists of those tales as friends with benefits . It's in Incest/Taboo because two of the five females involved are foster twins. Laurel is taking her time with this one, I guess. I've had it in her queue for over a week.

Drafts Folder and willing to air-

"Strangely Close Girls". The origin story for my recurring Incest positive foster twins Shauna and Tara Shapiro. "The Sisters Next Door" and "Pool Hustle" feature these two FMCs, so will "Girls Dorm Gathering" when it goes up.

"Biker Fantasy". Novella length work about a high school senior who joins a biker gang and offers the leader her virginity in exchange for free riding lessons, then has further adventures featuring sex and martial arts action. It's an ongoing project that will probably take a few more months.

"Catbird Seat". The Fanfic story of how my recurring male main character Doug Ramsay the rake cop and later entertainment mogul met and first hooked up with famed softball pitcher Cat Osterman while battling a Marvel supervillain known as the Mad Thinker. This one's still in early drafts too, though I have a rough outline of the opening scenes.

"Saving Sandra". Prequel to the above story. 2002, a few months after he met Danica Patrick and before he hooked up with Cat Osterman, rake cop Doug Ramsay is working security at a house party hosted by famous actress slash Austin Texas resident Sandra Bullock. Sandra's home is invaded by a pair of original supervillain dragons in human form (characters inspired by the TV show Supernatural) and their hired goons. Doug must rescue Sandra and the other guests in a "Die Hard" type situation, and Sandra will be grateful enough for a bit of loving once he succeeds. This one is taking a while- I'm trying to keep it as non-convoluted as I can. Wish me luck, please. :)

Other projects as ideas occur. I am also in danger of burnout at any time. :(

Yeah, me too. Really busy with my professional editing, which is great for the savings account, but it's leaving me drained. That's one reason why I have so many stories in my Drafts: I get an idea, or the spark of an idea, I just don't have the energy to give them the focus and energy to write more than a handful of pages.

I finally got back to working on my "Orgasm Vampire" story.
An alien crash lands on earth and discovers the energy they need to survive comes from female orgasms. The story follows the alien's survival and education of humans for 70 years as they wait for rescue.

I also have one I'm working on for the Nude Day contest "The Godiva Experience"
One late night a young man sees a naked blonde girl on a horse galloping along next to the highway as he is headed home. He spends a lot of time trying to find her but to no avail. After a time the incident takes on the feel of a magical encounter. He meets a sexy redhead and they fall for each other but he can't forget about the girl on the horse.

Comshaw

My latest work is currently close to 6K words (probably stopping around 7K) to be titled "Do We Need to Talk?", a different take on that old story line will be posted to Loving Wives (probably within two weeks). This has a husband whose first marriage ended with his young wife's "we need to talk" admission. His second marriage to the perfect wife after twenty years is beginning to show signs of strain, and he takes a proactive (sharing) approach to save this marriage. It takes some not-so-subtle pokes at the LW haters who think love & sex must go together for monogamy as the ONLY way.

I also have two other ideas I've outlined for the future:
1. A follow-on to my Pink Orchid story "The Maneater" about the wife with her catwoman-type traits along with her high-IQ husband being recruited by "the agency" for some training as assets for the agency's future use. It's my version of a "True Lies" couple, with the wife taking the lead. I haven't gotten much feedback on the maneater story, so I'll need to consider whether it's worth the effort to go any further with her aggressive sexy female persona.

2. Another tentative idea is a story where the swinger husband's former college roommate and friend comes to him to ask for advice with his suspicions of his wife's changing personality possibly being infidelity. It would be another poke at the "love & sex" crowd, with the attitude "If it's JUST sex, don't make a big deal out of it. Get over it!"

Things that I am fairly likely to finish include:
  • The last chapter in my Sisterly Seduction series. Pretty much done.
  • Vampire story. I have 40k words written but it's a bit of a mess so might just take the best bits and shorten it a lot.
  • Apocalyptic zombie'esque story set in the late 1800's. Four chapter are completed. Very dark.
  • A strange tale about a séance and a lot of mysticism. About half-way done. Quite unique.
  • An incest story in which the older brother's girlfriend looks remarkably similar to his younger sister. Coincidence?
  • Secret society story. Technically this was two half-baked stories merged into one. Needs a lot of polish, but otherwise done. Could work for the Pandemonium challenge.
  • A tale set in the neo-gothic era, set in France, about an arranged marriage. Might switch this to a fantasy story because the research is killing me.
  • A maid story in which she figures out that the man she's working for is a sorcerer.
  • A story about a girl who loses the ability to walk. Kind of depressing.
  • A story about a girl who has recently gone blind. Extremely depressing.
Things that I haven't started other than just laying out the very basics, but that is likely to be completed:
  • 750-word-story for the challenge.
  • A cute "first love" tale. More romance, less filth.
  • A potential cooperative effort together with @Kumquatqueen - though we've not really decided what it should be about yet.
