This one takes place in Brooklyn and, like my other Portmanteau, features three independent erotic stories that intertwine, often giving the reader more than one perspective of a scene. Each story has three stories, with at least three couples who have at least three erotic connections in each story.

Reading them is fun, writing them is hard, and it's taken me a while to get this one ready to go. Writing this kind of story requires a mini version of universe-building. While it is heavy on erotica, the astute reader will find multiple setups in one story that pay off in another.

The Chainer is in final edits. It's a LitRPG story about a paladin and her rogue companion who infiltrate the lair of a notorious slaver to rescue a kidnapped princess. Nothing terribly new but it's fun.

The Sands of Mars is halfway through the first draft. It's a semi-steampunk Victorian bodice-ripper of an adventure about a brilliant archeaologist who is enslaved by the natives of Mars and must overcome terrible odds to survive, escape, and win. She may find love along the way. I'm through the villainy and into the adventure proper so the words are coming faster now.

Spoils of War is plotted and test sections with character interactions have been written. This one is a faux-18th century story of woman cast into slavery when her city falls to a foreign army. She is purchased by an ambitious soldier and his two 'brothers' and must find a way to not only survive but prosper; building a new family along the way.

Other stories are plotted and waiting. It's good to be writing again.

Since my last update in late February I've managed to complete all of the stories I had listed as in-progress at the time - except for one, which is the Geek Pride story that I didn't meet the deadline for, sadly.

• A strange tale about a séance and a lot of mysticism. Published.
• Apocalyptic zombie'esque story set in the late 1800's. Published.
• Incest story set in the medieval times. Published.

Since writing these little lists seems to give me the necessary motivation to finish some of what I've started, I'm going to make a new one. Currently working on:

• Story in which a scientist studies some type of human-looking but otherwise otherworldly creature in a laboratory.
• Bizarre and frightening adventure in which someone gets kidnapped by a masked man and wakes up in another place entirely, which appears to be run by robots, and in which each person inside must complete daily perverted tasks in order to stay alive. Kind of dark and "mind-fucky".
• Cute but awkward story about love on the neurodivergent spectrum.
• And, of course, the unfinished Geek Pride story which is a tragic romance of sorts, albeit with a rather unusual amount of anal sex for such a tale.

I've also not completely given up on some of the older stories I've begun writing, but since I haven't touched most of them for months, I do not think they deserve to be on the list.

LOL. I have had a singularly unsuccessful 6 months so far this year, with absolutely nothing completed on or off Literotica, but with a lot written despite that - all half-finished. I keep telling myself to focus and just get one done but then I get distracted by another one and I end up hopping backwards and forwards and sideways.

I've been really fighting with the manuscript, and I came to the conclusion today while at lunch that I need to completely restructure the chapter to be more of a frame narrative instead of progressing chronologically. Seems like it'll flow better and be less irritating to write that way.

- A novel-length story about my sword & sorcery characters Avilia and Sligh
- A dark fantasy story about a demon hunter and his apprentice, set in Germany during the Thirty Years' War

I'm finally finishing up that "snippet" inspiration from about May 17 - the one about Ellie in her yard with the neighbors Don and Val on the other side of the hedge. I didn't think it would take so long. It's become a 6,200 word story.
