What are we all writing right now?

I have so many things to write I decided to bypass the On the Job writers event. There was no job that I could think of that I wanted to lead to sex. Then Rustyoznail said "Library," and my mind went "Ook!"

Everything else is on hold while I head back to Terry Pratchett's discworld and write the short story, "The Assistant Librarian"

I have a few stories in the works.

1. An anal story about my wife's incredible ass.
2. A story about horny single moms.
3. A non-con story set in a fantasy world, which will be my first attempt at that genre.
4. The latest chapter of my "Daddy's Girls" series.

I start one story but get ideas for another, and want to jot them down and start a basic framework right away so that I don't forget them. Then I wind up writing several stories at once!

Does that happen with anyone else?

By the way, I love seeing everyone else's ideas. Very inspiring!

This is exactly the situation I am in tight now. Three series in works plus one stand alone story and some other vague notions.

I’ve scaled back my writing to avoid burnout (and to deal with other things in my life) but I am still working at it as much as I can. “Catbird Seat” (Fanfic about a famous softball pitcher at the top of her game and the young cop fan who befriends her when she comes under threat from an insane scientist, group sex featured between two leads and some friends of theirs) is pending before Laurel right now. Probably will get back to the Novella “Biker Fantasy” about my recurring FMC biker girl Lisa’s summer with a biker gang playing swap with her next week. I have other ideas also, we’ll see what grows in my brain. Feedback appreciated.

“Secrets in Secrets.” 1943, a pile of a country manor, Layton Hall, near both the English village of Madingley and the university town of Cambridge itself. The master of the hall is Ian Fairlington, twenty-three, who, as a teenager, inherited both the hall and the barony that went with his family who long had owned Layton Hall. Ian is a well-known Sci-Fi novelist who has gathered any needing men writing or filming in that discipline at the hall to give them refuge. Or so the story goes to justify them being there. The extensive dry basement area of the hall itself has been used from the start of the war for storage, with those knowing even this much being unsure of whether it is for safe storage of the university’s historical files or storage for the Foreign Office’s files or maybe something to do with strategic, highly secret, wartime research. Much wartime research, including the country’s atomic warfare research, is being conducted in Cambridge. Vehicles regularly trundling between the hall and Cambridge establish a link for anyone to see. Those in retreat at the hall claim connection to Sci-Fi writing and studies. So . . .

Added to this, Ian Fairlington is only twenty-three and is quite fit. How is that whatever is going on at Layton Hall important enough to the war effort that the young baron has been protected there since the start of the war? What are the secrets there he oversees? Why hasn’t he been enlisted and sent off to war? Despite the war, Fairlington entertains often. Both foreigners and countrymen of varied interests come and go. Secrets and those trying to unravel secrets abound.

In another dimension, Ian Fairlington is actively gay, although given English laws is not openly so. His valet, Rob, and the chauffeur, Tim, the robust sons of families long in service at Layton Hall and intensely loyal to the baron, know all there is to know of this and are Ian’s sexual refuge when he’s not toying around with a well-heeled and endowed visitor. For public consumption, Lady Susan Worthington, Ian’s fiancée, is in residence, acting the hostess. Her significant other, however, is her secretary, Barbara. More secrets.

Visitors come and go at Layton Hall, some of whom do so to unravel and make use of the secrets in secrets. Some just to play . . . maybe. Both Ian and Susan are hard-pressed to maintain the tale of reality that both their personal need and national interest dictate they maintain. But both have their weaknesses. The breaking point is near.

Another chapter of Developing Friends may be finished, with enough stuff to carry over to the next.

There are some ideas in my head, but nothing is forming. It involves a coffee shop though. maybe two.

The wife and I were walking down an alley in the town we're visiting and saw two guys talking, but their attention was clearly elsewhere. As we drew closer, we saw what it was: a dance studio on the opposite side of the street, where a dozen or so women were practising.

In the middle of the night, inspiration struck: a voyeur watching a ballet teacher. It's evolved since that initial idea, and now the female teacher is dancing with a pair of male twins. It's nearly done.

After this, I might focus on my monologue of a porn director trying to shoot a movie and finding that it's like herding cats. With a bit of luck, it might be ready for the On the Job event.

I usually do not talk about stories that I am currently working on, except one.

So, I'll give a small exclusive to my fellow authors.

Thanks to @Rob_Royale, I FINALLY stopped procrastinating and have started working on a Skyrim story.
It'd been a while since I played, so I've replayed it a bit to remember some things.

I'm very happy to help give you a little nudge. I really enjoyed the writing of mine because I could imagine the setting and characters so vividly. I can't wait to read yours. My advice though is not to mention Skyrim in the title or description lest it end up in celeb/fan fiction. It took a little work to have mine put into sci-fi/ fantasy but it's gotten much more attention and appreciation since it was moved.

Trying to write right now, issue is I have a few at the proof reading stage right now that always feels like such a chore:
-Story for on the job, I feel good about it, but I’m not sure if others in this population of readers will appreciate the setting and draperies around it.
-sequel to Seed of the Void. Struggling to mix adventure and sex into a bite sized installment.
-about a dozen other half finished stories, some intended for upcoming competitions and others I just don’t have the heart to go back to.

With my sci-fi story posting tonight, I'm working on my cheating wife blackmailed story and my version of "mom rides on my lap while dad drives".

Thank you for the nudge.
I'd always wanted to, but different shit always seemed to get in the way.

Thanks for the title and description advice, I'll do that.

It's in the very early stages, so it'll be a hot minute before it's done

I had kinda forgotten how awesome the game is.
Replaying it has been nice.

This one was submitted this morning. I ran it by my wife first to make sure the female first-person narrator didn't come across as too masculine.

It will be a version of Meet Me in St. Louis that describes what really happened back then in 1903. To make it plausible, I hope, it is told in first-person from Esther's POV, looking back from her 80th birthday in 1965. (That would make her eighteen in 1903.) I'm nearly 6,000 K words into it, so I seems that it will really happen. And yeah, I do have some of the iconic scenes from the movie.

They really built a car on the back lot for this, although I assume it was powered by batteries. Then, with the film technology of the time, it was mostly done with rear projections anyway.

Oh sure, it's a good idea to write notes. Otherwise it's difficult to remember everything. Most of it will be useful in the end. I know I suggested writing the notes in a word processing file and starting the story right below them. I do try to avoid having more than two active stories being written at the same time.

got stuck into a story last night that might be for the Geek Pride event, if i can make the character geeky enough... i mean, he is, but he doesn't know it, so it's tricky as it's written first person!

I also managed to accidentally write a slight twist in it, that may help my cause.

I wanted to try something different and started a story in the ever-popular futanari "genre". My intention was to make it reasonably realistic, with none of the foot-and-a-half cock + gallons of cum nonsense that seems to be so popular. I'm like 5k words in so far, and it's turning into a high school drama/comedy, where the unusual anatomy of the main character is not as front-and-center as you might expect.

Which is more or less what I intended, so I'll try to continue and see where it goes :)

What aren't I writing right now? LOL

I need to pick a story and stick with it; right now I'm trying to focus on Zeus and Amphitryon, my Geek Pride entry for this year, about a classical studies professor who finds himself (along with a number of other professors at his university) getting cuckolded by a thinly veiled Elon Musk stand-in who has basically taken his kink and made it everyone else's problem. It's ultimately a revenge story, but it's also about power, wealth, stupid people everyone pretends are smart, and finding solace in stories. Also, Greek mythology, which is where most of the geek stuff comes in.

I just did a work count and in the last 2 days I have written nearly 5K words (average story length is 6.1K). Problem is that is spread across three stories so where as I could have written almost one entire story I have made some progress on multiple, including one new start. I. Must. Focus.

I was mentally toying around with the idea of the naive guy getting his first experience with sex, and thought, what would taking that to the ultimate extreme look like?

So I'm currently fleshing out this idea: 19 year old guy wanders away from the cult compound he was born and raised in. The cult is so repressive that people are raised not even being aware that there is such a thing is the opposite sex, nor that sex is a thing. New children just show up occasionally. All male, of course, but he doesn't know to make that distinction.

Reproduction is managed by the cult leaders, and only when it is time to do the deed does anybody find out. This guy doesn't know any of this, he just sees his friends being taken away never to be seen again. He's conflicted over things, including the urges he has that he has no explanation for and no target for, so he wanders out. The compound is not guarded, they just rely on everyone being too terrified to wander in to the surrounding forest. The guy thinks he is basically committing suicide rather than escaping.

He comes out the other side into the modern world, except not. It's several generations after a virus has wiped out 99% of the human race (the impetus for the initial retreat of the cult). He stumbles upon two girls bathing in a pond, topless and in panties. His body reacts from some primal instinct, but he has no idea what he is seeing. He thought the cult was all the people left in the world. That the compound lliterally was the entire world. To him, these two resemble people, but with misshapen chests, underdeveloped faces, and no "shame" - the cult's word for penis.

Not sure where I'm going to take it yet, don't want to make it just about him making up for lost time wrt sex. Possibly with the people launching some kind of rescue of the cult members, or him returning to tell everyone about the rest of the world, or something.

No idea for a title yet, but my working description is something along the lines of: "He has to learn about the birds and the bees completely from scratch." I'm about 7K into it, but still not sure it will pan out.

May have written a Geek story and a Work one... happy with the former, not so with the latter, so I keep tweaking, then getting distracted by the first one and tweaking that.

The Geek isn't very geeky, but what the heck

I'm putting the finishing touches on the finale of my femdom barbarian/nun story (https://literotica.com/s/breaking-the-barbarian-ch-01). Six chapters done, just a matter of proofreading through them.

So with that wrapping up, I'm doing some outlining of the following ideas:

-Something for the Pandemonium event/challenge (https://forum.literotica.com/threads/pandemonium-challenge-support-thread.1601319/). Specifically, a warrior who finds a cursed sword that happens to have the soul of a horny demon inside it. Cue intense magic dream-sex and a toxic lesbian relationship, against the backdrop of a fantasy adventure

-Finally dipping my toes into a proper sci-fi adventure and some monster-fucking. Basically Mass Effect, but extremely horny

-Giving something a go in the sword and sorcery genre, with a former royal concubine becoming a wandering swordswoman. An homage to Conan, Red Sonja, etc.
