Well, for an actual infection, you doc asking you to sweat it out is unethical, since true sinus infections requie antibiotics to recover from in a timely matter.

They can check to see if it is a true infection by a simple blood test.

That baby can catch worse froma shopping cart.

I would ask the parents what they think, wash your hands frequently, and avoid holding the child.

I'm going to try to hold off going to the emergi-care center....that gets expensive.

You could get Pfizer calf scours tablets at a feed/farm/ranch store.

They are oxytetracycline- ( terramycin) . That will probably work against the infection for less than the price of an office call.

If you just want to avoid symptoms for the holiday- try vicks dayquil.

One of my cousins had his new grandson with him today. I held him until i started to cry, then gave him back. My cousins have grandchildren already and they're only 10-12 years older than me. Thoroughly depressing.

Ah, I'd have cuddled away. Trust me, he'll treat you to his creeping crud more times in the future than you will ever get him. Little kids are walking germ machines. If I spend much time with the nieces/nephew at all, I'm guaranteed to catch whatever the latest cold of the day is that they have passing through the family.
