Uncle John’s Band by the Greatful Dead is running around in my head this morning. Maybe my brain is trying to tell me something.

My first big concert was the Dead in Eugene, OR. in ‘93. It was quite a culture shock but I loved it.

There’s a festival here that is organized by the local bands that is starting to take off. Two days, multiple bands, family friendly, $15 for both days, an extra $15 to camp. Can’t beat it.

The song that is pleasing me this week (and probably annoying everybody at the stop lights around me) is "time for me to fly" by REO Speedwagon.
But reading up above here reminds me that I heard "Jack Straw" by the greatful dead this week, which I think might be the most disturbingly well written songs I've ever heard. But not one I'd recommend listening to before bed.
