Western Life-Closed for Aussie_Wolf

Chelsea floated for a moment as his lips touched hers and he took her into his arms once again promising that she would never have to leave his side. She giggled a little as he told her she may want to leave after learning his bad habits." she shook her head. "I shall just simply have to get a switch for you" she teased back.

When he laid her back in bed and released her she almost protested. But he was pulling in the covers and climbing in beside her. "yes much better, and that's the story and i'm sticking to it." she smiled nuzzling his chest and kissing it before laying her head back on it.

"Do you remember when we sneaked out to watch the stars dance with the moon?" she questioned. It had been one of their many escapes if there had been fighting in the house or they were upset over something. They always had each other. They would sneak out and go to the others window and throw pebbles until they woke the other.

She turned her body a little so she could loop her leg over his and lay her arm over his waist. His breathing lulled her softly.

Trevor chuckled a little. Oh he remembered that night very well. He also remembered what happened, and why she always referred to it as the Moon dancing with the stars. It was the night she had tried to teach him to dance.

It had been a complete disaster.

For one thing he had just had a growth spurt, so he was now almost a good foot and a half taller than her instead of just a little bit like they were used to.

Second she had just spent a whole season being taught as she was now going to be moving in those circles and thought it was easy, while he was still a farmers boy.

Third, it was about the time he was starting to notice her as a woman and develop his crush. Putting his hands on her had become difficult.

"Ahh our first dance. It was supposed to be magical, and instead it turned out to be a disaster. However in all honesty I do not think anybody could have danced as divinely as the moon and stars that night," he chuckled again.

"Did you know I had to lie to my father and told him I stubbed my toe, because he asked why i was limping around the next day. I couldn't very well tell him I had snuck out to dance with you." she giggled. "Though i'm pretty sure that was one of the nights I fell head over heals for you." she blushed a little

"I look forward to making new memories with you Trevor, so in ten years we can look back and say.. do you remember when.." She squeezed his body with the arm that was draped over it.

"How long do I have to stay in this bed?" she questioned wanting to start her life with him as soon as possible.

He sighed. He wanted her fit and healthy as soon as possible as well. What was extra frustrating was that he knew of one way of doing it immediately, but he could not do it, not yet.

"You must stay in bed tonight and tomorrow. However after that your ribs should be healed sufficiently that with strapping you may move around slowly. My doctor has left you some medicine you are to take, and hopefully within a week you will no longer need the strapping."

He would make sure she followed orders as he did not know how long he could actually keep his hands off her. Oh there were other things the two of them could do of course, but would he stop after sampling her delights? That was something even he was not sure of and he was afraid to find out.

"Do not worry. After tomorrow I will take you on a personal tour of your new home. You just have to be patient. I tell you what. If you are good I will do one thing you ask of me. As long as Emma says you have been an excellent patient," he smiled.

Chelsea couldn't help but scowl at the thought of having to remain in bed another day. She did however smile at the thought of being able to go on a tour with him around the homestead. He had called this her home. It just seemed to good to be true.

She hated taking the medicine, it made her groggy and sleep. She felt as though she had missed out on so much of their time together she didn't want to miss another moment. But she had to remind herself that she was there to stay. He would never leave her again.

He told her she had to be good, and she could ask him to do one thing. Emma would be the judge if she had been a good patient or not. She knew the girl was loyal to him, so there would be no way to briber her way out of it.

"Deal" she finally said as her mind fluttered with all kinds of things she could have him do to get him back for making her obey the doctor.

Trevor knew he had just made a slight miscalculation, but at the same time he was also intrigued to see just what she was going to have him do if she passed her test. Still Emma would not let her off easy. She would have to follow all the doctors orders to the letter and behave herself or she would never say she had passed.

"Get some rest for now dear one. We will see how you feel in the morning," he smiled.

Chelsea reluctantly let him go so he could get out of bed. and she laid back smiling at him. "could you have Emma bring me dinner so I can take my medicine?" she said giving him a smirk. Letting him know there was no way she was going to let this opportunity go.

As he was leaving she continued to look at his butt. Better then it had ever been.

Emma came back in with her food and medicine. She ate it all and took her medicine. Her dreams were good for the most part, until probably around 2am. The medicine had done its work and put her out deeply. Chelsea began to toss and turn and cry out "stop, stop" with tears falling from her eyes. Emma tried to wake her, but she wouldn't wake so she sought out Trevor.

Trevor heard what was going on a hurriedly followed Emma into Chelsea's room. He found the poor woman thrashing around on the bed gripped in a nightmare. Unfortunately her medicine had been so strong she was unable to wake up. The way she was moving though she was liable to re-injure herself.

Well there was only one thing to do. Sending Emma to go and get a bowl of water and a towel, he climbed into bed with her and wrestled with her until she was laying next to him with her head on his chest. Then he began to whisper nonsense words to her, and make calming sounds until she started to quiet down. By that time Emma had returned and he began to gently clean her sweaty face.

"There, there, dear one, it is fine. You are safe now," he whispered.

Chelsea slowly calmed under Trevors nonsense words and cooing into her ear. The sound of his heartbeat greatly adding to her ability to relax. The dream changing to one with him under their tree. As she calmed and dreamed of him her hand wrapped over his waist and clung to him. A slight smile crossing her face as he told her she was safe.

As long as Trevor stayed with her head on his chest and her arm draped over him she would continue to sleep peacefully. If he left her, she would revert back to the same state.

Trevor looked at Emma and shrugged a little. "I can not leave her like this. It looks like I will be spending the night here."

Getting more comfortable, he gently eased her until she was laying next to him with her arm on his shoulder and her head on his chest. She seemed fine like that and was sleeping comfortably.

Emma had stayed until he waved her away and settled back. Smiling he gently stroked Chelsea's hair as he too drifted off to sleep.

Chelsea didn't wake until almost noon. When she did Emma was sitting there. Having no idea that Trevor had been there through the night she opened her groggy eyes.

"You gave us a bit of a scare last night miss" Emma told her setting down her book. "How are you feeling?"

Chelsea opened her mouth and closed it a couple of times trying to get the taste of dry cotton balls out of it. "Like I've been drugged." she said yawning a little. "I'm also really thirsty, and hungry what time is it?"

"Almost noon miss"

"oh goodness" she said sitting up and finding she wasn't in half the pain as she was the day before.

"I'll go tell Lord Trevor you're up and get your lunch." she said with a smile leaving the room.

Trevor had awoken early, just as the sun had lightened the sky. To many years of warfare and being a farmers son allowed him to sleep in. He gently eased himself out of the bed and then made sure that Chelsea would stay asleep now that he had left her alone. After several minutes in which she had not moved he quietly left the room and began his morning duties.

By the time Emma came to see him to tell him Chelsea was awake he had been able to complete most of his days work. Smiling at her he nodded and signed a last few documents before heading towards her room.

As he entered he saw her looking much better and he smiled. "Ah sleep seems to agree with you, at least when you get it. Now we just have to wait for Emma and then I will check your progress. You look better but we have to make sure your ribs are still in place."

He was rather anxious considering last nights activities. The medicine they were giving her was laced with their special ingredient but still.

"Where do you think they would have gone?" she questioned with a little confusion. "I feel much better, i'm sure I look atrocious though. "I will stay in bed like you told me I had to though." She stuck out her tongue at him playfully and brought it back in just as quick when Emma returned with lunch.

"I sent Calvin out to get the Doc to check her out" she told Trevor before leaving them alone.

"Have you had a busy day?" she asked her eyes dancing.

Trevor shook his head at her and laughed at her innocent face as her tongue quickly retreated back inside her mouth at Emma's appearance.

"No Dear one. Your ribs can move around inside your body if they are too damaged and injure you even more," he explained to her. "That is why we have your body wrapped like it is to keep them from doing so."

He gestured for her to start eating her lunch and then sat back down in what was fast becoming his chair.

"As for my day, no it has been nothing unusual. I have just had to approve a few new buildings that are going up. Purchases of livestock, lumber, stone, rubble and the like. Going over the books, both the Manors and the lands. Tending to the reports from my scouts and catching up on a few other things. "

"So all in all just a typical day," he smiled.

"Oh" she said as he explained how her ribs could shift. He had gestured for her to begin eating, and she silently obeyed.

As she ate she listened to the complicated life he led. The things that he had to do to maintain his new stature and lifestyle. She was very impressed at the man he had become from the boy he was. Not that she would have cared if he had stayed a farmer all his life. Nothing would ever change the love she had for him. It would only continue to grow and prosper as they did as people.

Soon the doctor came and Emma stayed and made Trevor wait outside. Chelsea whimpered a little as he pushed and prodded and examined her.

The doctor went out and spoke to Trevor.

Trevor waited a bit impatiently for the doctor to finish, but eventually he finished and came out to speak to him. He trusted the man implicitly, having journeyed with him all over the continent and fought side by side with him. There were also other reasons but that was a family secret.

"It is as I suspected M'Lord. Her ribs are fractured in several places and the more she moves the worse they are becoming. I have wrapped them as much as I can and they are stable for now, but I am not sure how long that will last." Sighing he looked at Trevor and ran his hand through his hair. "If you want them to heal fully you know what you must do."

Thanking him, Trevor clapped him on the shoulder and sent him on his way and then walked into the room with a smile on his face. "Well then Chelsea, the Doc say's you are getting better and may soon be able to get up. However today we need to have a little talk. Do you feel up to it?"

His smile brought one to her lips as he entered. "Oh good" she replied "because I don't think I can stay in bed much longer. I want to explore with you" she said smiling.

Tilting her head slightly she studied his face when he asked if she was ready for a talk. She wasn't sure what to make of his expressions. Was it fear? Or worry? She wasn't sure but it did give her a feeling of wavering confidence. Had she done something wrong?

"Of course" she said softly unsure of what was to come next.

Trevor looked at her and he saw how frightened she was becoming and rushed to reassure her.

"Oh no Chelsea there is nothing wrong, especially with anything you have done believe me. you coming here has been the best thing in my life, especially as you have told me that you actually love me," he smiled.

Running his hands through his hair and sighing he began to walk along the end of the bed. 'No the problem is that your ex husband has caused you considerable damage over the years you lived together and my doctor thinks it is going to give you pain later in life. It also mans you may never have children."

He looked at her to see her reaction to this devastating news and then continued on.

"Now I can fix it, but it involves something that must be kept secret from everybody except my men and those I trust. Even those that came with you can never know. It will cure you and you will be strong again, in fact you will be stronger than you have ever been," he chuckled, "But there is a price to pay."

He looked at her and his stare was intense. "If you want this I will have your solemn vow to god that you will never reveal what I will tell you or show you on pain of death. It is that important. Or you may forget this whole thing and we will make do as we are, as I will not love you any less. You are the love of my Life and I will have you any way I can," he smiled.

Even though he reassured her she didn't do anything wrong. When he told her how serious her injuries were, and that she could possibly not be able to give him a child. Tears fell from her eyes. What kind of woman could give herself to a man without being able to provide him an error. She knew he would never leave her again. He wouldn't leave her for that reason. But she knew how much he wanted children of his own.

She wasn't sure what secret cure he had. But if it would allow her to be a proper wife to him. She would do anything. "I swear I would never betray the secret" she said softly looking up at him having decided.
"I can't be a proper wife to you otherwise, and I know Trevor, I know that you will have me just as I am, but I cannot do that to you... I can't do that to us... and I will not be without you in my life.

Trevor had moved to sit beside her on the bed and as she told him her feelings, small tears began to run down his face. What had he done to deserve this woman? She should be thinking more about herself, yet she was more concerned about what her injuries meant for him than her.

"I don't care about a child as long as I have you Chelsea. Yes it would be nice to have an Heir to carry on my name. A boy to grow up strong like me and take over one day, or a Girl as beautiful as her mother," he said smiling at her, "Who we could dote on, but not having you would be so much worse."

He reached for her and wrapped his arms carefully around her and drew her into a hug, kissing her deeply. Then he looked at her seriously. "However I believe you when you say you are willing to give me your solemn vow, so I will tell you what I and my men have only told the King and a few of his trusted advisors."

Sitting back he took a deep breath. "You may find this tale hard to believe but it is all true and I will be able to prove it. It happened to me and a few of my men about 3 years into the war. By then I was a young Sergent in charge of a scouting party. There were ten of us that day, including the Doctor that was just here, although he was just a young field medic then. We were ordered to scout out a path through a thick forest, checking for any hidden enemies. Non of the locals ever went near the place and we were warned to stay clear. Legend's said that a clan of beasts lived in it and killed anybody that entered. Even our enemies would not be foolish enough to come that way."

Trevor stopped and looked at her intently. "If only our commander had listened."

Shaking his head he continued. "We road in full of ourselves, but soon the bright sunshine grew dim as the thick branches overhead covered the paths and the sunlight failed to penetrate through. The feeling became uneasy and then the howling began. Quiet at first, but then louder as the wolves seemed to be getting closer. Just why they would choose to hunt 10 armed men on horseback was a mystery to me, but I was taking no chances. The next clearing we came to I had the men dismount, draw weapons and prepare to defend themselves."

Again he shook his head as the images of that fight burned across his mind. "We should have paid attention to the locals and never gone into those woods, and I should have ordered my men to run, not fight."

Shaking himself out of the horror of his memories he looked at her again. "I will not subject you to the details of what came next. Just know that it was a bloody fight and only half of us survived and not one was not injured. All of our horses but 2 had been slaughtered and we were sure we had not killed all our enemy. How we actually got out of the woods I can not tell you. We were all half delirious with fever from our wounds, but we had enough sense to walk the horses and change riders to rest while the others walked. The next thing we all truly remember is waking up in the first aid tent of the Armies camp a week later."

He paused to let his story sink in. So far he had said nothing out of the ordinary and certainly nothing that would require an oath of secrecy.

"We were all fit for duty within a week. In fact the doctors were amazed how quickly we recovered, but we just wanted to get back to the fighting. I felt stronger and fitter than I ever had before and fighting became easier. In fact scouting became like second nature, it was almost as if I could see trails and tell were an enemy had been by the smallest of details. It was as if I was sniffing out their locations. Little did I know how right I was."

"It took one whole month before my men and I found out just how much we had changed and luckily we were away from camp. We were scouting an enemies position and had left our horses, armor and all but our daggers behind as we crept up to a hill overlooking their camp. It had taken hours of stealthy movement started at twilight and now as the moon started to rise we were about to crest the hill. Yet I felt something wrong with my body. A serious case of the cramps and a wild heat came over it and I began to writhe on the ground. Around me I could just make out that the rest of my men were in the same condition when the most intense pain I have ever felt rippled through me and I flung back my head to yell and a howl ripped through the night."

He could see the confusion on Chelsea's face and smiled a rueful smile. "You see my dear, I am a werewolf."

Chelsea returned his deep kiss and gently wiped his tear away. "In your hearts of hearts Trevor, you had always wanted a large family. I know you would take me as i am and sacrifice that dream. But i'm just not willing to let you" she said softly as he took a breath and sat back and then began to tell his tale.

Holding his hand she listened as he talked about his men and their horses being attacked. She squeeze his hand at the losses and pain he had to endure during his service. The pain and torture he had been through ripped at her heart. Tears fell from her eyes as he told of the battle.

Then he told her of how quick they recovered and how much more alive and strong they felt. Still she continued to hold his hand. Then he got to the part of his body contorting and howling at the moon. She looked at him confused.

Then his words came 'I am a werewolf'.

Her hand continued to hold his as her mind processed the information. Of course she had heard of werewolves, and other creatures that myths were made of to scare children into behaving. But the fact they were real? She could tell by his facial expression and the look in his eyes he wasn't pulling her leg.

Her mouth opened as if she was going to say something, then closed as she thought more on it. Now granted most people would have screamed and run away. But this was Trevor, he was still the same boy she fell in love with so many years ago. He still made her laugh the same way, and she knew that she still loved him. But a werewolf? Obviously he didn't want to hurt her or he would have. His people were of the same as he. Yet he still was here with her.

"So.... in order for me to be fixed..you want to turn me into one too?" she questioned. "Will you show me your werewolf side?"

Trevor was impressed. He had told this story to a few people and most had at least shuddered and turned away. Others had tried to flee, and they had unfortunately had to be killed. Admittedly all that he had told the story to, or nearly all he amended thinking of the King again, had been or had been close to Deaths door.

That was how he had built his own company, and why they were so loyal to him. He was their Alpha wolf and they his pack. They would and had laid down their lives for him, but he would do anything and had to see them survive.

He had learned a few things over these years about werewolves as well. The myths and legends about them were partially true. They could turn into beasts, but they could do it at any time not just on the full moon and they were in complete control, except for their first change and if the beast took over.

They seemed to age slower. He did not feel any older than the day he had been attacked and some of the younger members still looked young.

They were all stronger and faster and had more stamina, and healed faster, yet they could be hurt and killed and it did not take a special weapon to do it.

They could change others into them, but it required the Alpha's bite. It was something in his saliva and only in his wolf form.

They required meat and a lot of it, or they risked the wolf taking over. They had to eat almost twice as much meat as most people or they became irritable at first, then angry, then violent, then they changed and would attack anything until their hunger was sated.

Still for Chelsea to accept him not knowing this filled him with love.

"Of course I will my love, and I want to assure you that I will never harm you. I am in full control and what you see is still me. Now if you will pardon me I must disrobe. My clothes do not change," he blushed.

He did not want to leave her and so moved to the end of the bed and began to take his clothes off until he was naked, turning so his back was to her to preserve his modesty for now although his legs were parted and though he did not know it, if she looked between she would see what he thought hidden.

"I will change now my love. it will not take long and then I will once again be beside you."

After years of doing so the change took but seconds and soon in place of Trevor the man, was Trevor the wolf. A large, brawny, Muscular, brown pelted wolf standing almost 4 foot high at the shoulders walked towards her and looked her in the eyes. That was the amazing thing. The eyes of the wolf and the eyes of the man were exactly alike.

Trevor looked at her from his new height and waited to see what she would do.

Never in her life had Chelsea experienced the vision in front of her. She watched as he disrobed and smiled at his firm buttocks and blushed as her eyes glanced at his manhood before quickly looking back to his shoulders.

She watched as his body contorted and the wolf became visible walking around the bed to her. Her eyes looked deep into the eyes of the man she had loved forever that was now a big brown massive wolf. Slowly she reached her hand out to touch him. She did so slowly as her mind wrestled with the idea of 'oh my god theres a wolf in the room, and that's Trevor in wolf form he won't hurt me'.

Slowly her fingers grazed his muzzle, the worked their way around his jaw line, then his big ears. She lightly petted him then patted the bed next to her so he would join her in bed. "I don't ever want to hear you scold me for letting dogs in the bed" she teased smiling to him bringing some light to the serious moment.

"This is how you meant I could become better" she said softly. "you'll turn me into a werewolf, I guess that will kinda make you my Daddy" she teased again. It was more nervousness then anything. "I suppose you will have to bite me?". Slowly she extended her wrist to him. "okay".

The wolf looked at her as she talked and then as she offered him her wrist Trevor had to smile. Shaking his head he leaned up and nuzzled her and then gently licked her face before moving back down the bed and moving his head so it was next to her hand.

He looked up at her and then again gently nuzzled her hand until she lifted it as if to pet him but he stopped her and opened his mouth placing it around it. Then he looked her in the eyes again so she would understand.

Finally he pulled back so that only the tip of her largest finger was in his mouth but she held steady. Once again he was very proud of her and they way she seemed to know what he wanted. He bit down on her finger, Jaws that could easily break a man's leg in two, delicately breaking just the surface of her skin and drawing blood. Then he licked the wound clean, mixing his saliva with her blood.

Most people thought you had to survive a horrible injury from a werewolf to be infected. The truth was, as long as the intent to infect the person was there, then any sort of mingling of blood and saliva was all it took. That was something Trevor was truly grateful for.

Releasing her finger he again reached up and licked her cheek and then waited to see if she wanted anything else from him in this form.

With his bite on the tip of her finger she barely even winced. The amount of pain she had been through in her life was nothing to the mere prick his gentle bite had given her. She giggled through his face licking.

"will you change and come lay with me?" she asked softly a little frightened of the fever and sickness that may come next. She watched as he went back to the end of the bed and changed out of her sight line and got dressed.

"How much longer will I have to stay in bed?" she questioned laying her head upon his chest. There was something about knowing that she was connected to him on a level that no one could ever take from her.

Even though she still bared the marks of a previous life without it. It was hard for her to imagine what life would be like without him. She could now look forward to providing him with children and a life full of new memories.
