Ah, we export all the best things about British to the states then obviously! Those, along with some of the Sit Coms that were on tv really define us well in the 70's!

I'm with you on the music, not so much on the films, but thats because i'm not into films in a big way. music however is another matter... I could happily live without a TV but not music.

Glad to hear it, youth of today have no respect for their elders.

Lmao. Not only do I know about a fair bit of the English awesomeness that is the "humour" from TV and movies..but I learned a BUNCH from my one English friend. I probably stated this already, rofl.

I am a huge fan of both. Bit of a movie snob... not in the "I will only watch movies about this..or from this era...or with these people in it", but in the "I'm rather picky about what makes this movie good or bad". *shrugs*

I agree. There is nothing sadder than talking to someone about a movie/actor/music and having them go "Eh...what's that?" >.<

I remember a few weeks ago I was talking with my 18 year old cousin about music..and I starting talking about WAR and my cousin didn't know who that was. 0.0 So I turned to my uncle and informed him that his son didn't know who this was (and I know for a fact he played this when my cousin was younger)...and it was hilarious. He started singing songs. XD

I don't mind chick flicks..but they are too freaking predictable. *rolls eyes* I'm a horror/thriller movie kinda girl. ^_^ And...Alan Rickman is freaking AWESOME. I could name of a ton of English/Irish/Scottish actors that I love..but that might take a while.

I was told I NEEDED to see Billy Connolly's stand-up. I think of him and I get two images... him as a zombie in FIDO...and him as the total BADASS in Boondock Saints. ^_^
I honestly know next to nothing about the Kinect. When I separated from my husband, I lost touch with console gaming for the most part. Ooh, but I did kill some dudes on Black Ops last night. ^_^ First time playing something other than Wii sports games in like...3 months. Twas awesome.

And it sooo seriously is a good way of removing stress...Nothing like staring down a scope and shooting someone half the map away. Wait...I'm thinking of MAG...I did terrible on the match for Black Ops. 69 kills...but 82 deaths. I got terrible in the time I didn't play any first person shooters...I am an rpg kinda girl though.

And lucky you for being good at music, I sing and play keyboards but thats about it. Good bless music software that makes you sound better than you are....

Fable is just the business! The only thing I dont like about the new version is how you manager your quests / weapons / clothes etc, its not as good as previous versions. But thats picking holes though, it is still very very good! I'm not a big fan of first person shooters to be honest dunno why. Maybe i'm just a softie at heart
