The snow storms have affected Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and, of course, New York!

Time for a rescue mission!

Kendo, Rob and I have gotten out the sled dogs, parkas, kilt (for Kendo) and, of course, an iPod to play the rescue music, and we're on our way! We're gonna dig ya out guys, and mush ya on down to SeaCat's house in Florida. There you can worry about hurricanes rather than snow.

Who needs rescuing? And who can help us with supplies and support on our way to these desperate AH members? They're going to be in need of all kinds of things! Come on, give what help you can.

We're low on supplies, but we can offer safe-harbor. No hurricanes here at least. All we require for admittance to the Love Shack is a healthy appetite for nudity, vulgarity, laughter, smiles, and pleasure. Just check your judgments and inhibitions at the door.

I have access to snowmobiles and all sorts of winter gear.

Oh, and I'll bring the rum.

:cathappy:

Ummm, what snow? Anyway, I'll hitch a ride to Florida, just need you to drop me off by a certain Kitty's place.

Can't take on hitchhikers unless they're willing to pull their weight! How are you at building igloos? I also see you have a guitar. Can you do a solo? The dogs like Steppenwolf. "Born to be Wild."

Yeah, somehow I think I can manage to pull that off. I'm quite technically inclined, so if we're going to bring a mini-entertaiment center with us, I can keep it running. I'm not so good with igloos.

I can offer a way station close to the frontlines. I'm in Upstate New York but south and east of the upheaval. :D Cold but almost no snow. Plenty of supplies too.

I'm sure my sweet girl will share. Just bought a giant bag of food and there are various bones hidden under the couch at the moment. She even shares with the cats.

You make snow sound like it's a bad thing.
Uh-Oh. Xelebes been snow-bound for so long he's gotten Stockholm's syndrome. He identifies with his captor! We're going to need a therapist.

It's at a comfortable -18C right now.
Feh, that's practically sun tanning weather. We're at -8F. Methinks Mrs. California wouldn't actually make it out with her dogs, despite her good intentions. :D

:p Hey! I've got a real-live-Canadian helping me out! And kilted Kendo. We'll get there! It was a native Californian who won the gold in snow-boarding! ("Go Tomato!"). We'll surf those drifts to Florida! (A little surf music, if you please). Cowabunga!

It's only getting colder as the clock ticks forward to the 3rd hour in the morning.

(Pacing before a huge, AH Flag): This, Ladies and Gentlemen, is what we're facing.

They're buried to the rooftops. And it's our job to get them out! Now some of you may wonder if you'll know what to do when the time comes. But when you see your fellow AH'er trapped inside their home, sipping cocoa in their hot tub, you'll know what to do!

The sled dogs are ready, and the next phase of our journey awaits!

Mush, Fifi, Mush Fido! Muffin, stop playing with Bingo! Mush! Mush!

Well, I am lookin on some news and it says Lake Effect N.Y. has 9.5 feet deep snow. Can your sled dogs handle that?

My doggie Scooter don't like snow, he tries to walk on snow on only his back feets, and I thought, hey that might work. He can lead the way for your sled dogs.

Scooter will courageously and fearlessly blaze a trail. He is not big but he is strong, when he came in from the back yard a few minutes ago he tried to tackle me and made me spill my coffee (fuckin mutt) but I didn't hit him cause he had a stupid grin on his face and was playin. He requires 2 chewy stick treats per day, or if you are runnin low you can break one in half, he can count to 2 but to him size don't matter.

Anywho, stop off here in texas on your way to new york. Since you didn't say where you was coming from it might be on the way (I guess) and I will have him ready. You will have to take all his doggie toys along because he won't even go in the backyard without dragging 2 or 3 with him.

After rescuing all these peoples and taking them to Cats place in florida please don't let Scooter go inside Cats trailer. After hearing Cat say how his electricity lights up half the trailer park I am a little concered.

Also, did you ask Cat if you can take all these snowbound bedraggled survivors to his trailerhome? I think he said he has a doublewide but still it might be crowded.

Goodluck and Godspeed.

Oh, they'll handle it all right!

Fifi (aka, "The Commander") is an alpha bitch like you wouldn't believe. No one slacks off when Fifi's in charge!

But we will happily accept your offer and draft Scooter as scout. Doggie toys will certainly be provided.
