My sub is not a pian seeker but does like it a lot to be whipped or cropped to the point of welts popping up on her rear end and tops of her legs. She also likes to have her breasts marked from time to time although one must be very careful since it is very easy to bruise a breast with a whip or crop. I must admit that doing it is a big turn on for me also. Just feeling the welts, sweat, and hotness of it on her skin gets me hot as well.

personally, i LOVE welts, bruises, and other fun marks. they're reminders of Him, the things we did that left those marks, and they also serve as sort of badges of "ownership". i love the looks i get when someone spots several oddly shaped red welts on my thighs or behind my knees. or when somebody asks "what the hell happened to you?" and i just look at them and say "rough sex" and they laugh, as though i were joking. they're little souveniers of fantastic sex.

IMHO it is directly related to the skill of the person wielding the implement.

So any of them can be dangerous if the person is not skilled.

Practice is the key.

I find I enjoy seeing the marks after a session. I feel like I have something to show for myself after it's finished. I especially love it when I take a shower and the water and soap makes them really sensitive.. Oh what fun it is to be a sub! Petra

The least painful way would be with a Magic Marker. People vary greatly as far as sensitivity to marking goes. A cane leaves a distinctive mark, but almost anything can mark including the hand. I would think a flogger used high on frequency but low in intensity would be the least painful.
