It does, I think what we had got grandfathered in, but going forward, the profiles will be the same. So if you change it, you’ll have the same profile on both sides.

No name, only av. I can click av, then name, then av again but it takes me to my profile on the authors side:

I'm sad to report that I'm unable to "start a conversation with myself"

It's funny, of course, to be given that error message. But sometimes I like to message myself a thought or a link so I don't forget.
Maybe it has always been like this?

Regardless, the other night, I tried to message myself, and this box popped up saying "You cannot start a conversation with yourself"
And my first thought was the hell I can't!

Is there a way to delete PMs? I need to clean out my inbox just for organizational reasons but I'm missing delete. I just see "Leave". What does that look like to the other person in the message?

Leave is the only way to delete now. It won’t show to the other person that you’ve left (Bambi & I tested it). But it does mean you have to delete the whole thread

If that other person messages you again, the entire convo is restored. At least that’s what happened when I tested it before.

It might be that if you had both left the conversation that might not happen and a new conversation might be formed. Perhaps someone could check it out?

That’s right, new conversation would have to start in the case. Since the thread would be removed from both people’s inbox, they wouldn’t have anything to reply to.
