well i came up with the rest of februrary's rent money

I bet two college students that I could swim acroos the frozen river in town 25$ each , they quickly accepted, I quickly jumped in. I made the 150 swim in roughly 17 minutes. 50$ made 5$ more than i need to complete februarys 250$.

Now to make another 250$ in 27 days for march

Jeez, I paid 350 for an apartment that size.
Of course I found a miracle, and am now living in a 2 bedroom half house for 400 a month! (2 bedrooms, full bath, full attic and basement, living room kitchen and dining room) I am NEVER moving.

Don't know what your circumstances are, I'm sure you've been creative considering income options. I'm assuming your a college student with limited opportunity to earn an income.

Some that work well are UPS, Wal-Mart warehouse and tele-marketing(no fun but can earn decent money for a short time). A great self-employment summer job is doing the things no one else wants to do. I made lots of money as a student washing windows. Our main advertising was a sandwich board sign at the house we were currently working and word of mouth from customers. We worked 14-16 hour days during the spring and were able to complete 2-3 houses a day earning about $150-$200 per day. That was, umm, more than a decade ago.

Usually college towns have very active temp agencies as well.

Just my input, for what it's worth.

No I am not a college student.

I have been trying to find part time work for 3 months to hold me over till summer when i can go back to my susaual self employement.

When isn summer i usually pay my rent well ahead figuring on getting mid winter work. this time midwinter work is not showing up and i was paid till the end of january.

this town i live in is crying an all time low for unemployement, yet i know more unemployed that employed.

the personell service jobs have been null the nb job bank for my area empty

as for the swim i only had a half our of shrinkage

Clothes you mean i have to wear those to an job application, dagnavit and i been going naked for the last 3 months

As i said in the other thread the assiatnces and things like that in my area and i think my province are so screwed up that healthy unemployed people do not qualify, butif there is some sort of disability/unability physically/mental then its all thumbs up. and even as screwed up as I act here they still think i am normal
