it seems very arbitrary... sometimes it's there right away, sometimes there even after some time, even if there's no replies in either case, and often not there at all despite no responses so i dunno what goes on there

At least you know where the pot is. I just went out to the kitchen to refill my cup - and when I got there, I couldn't for the life of me remember why I was there. This ageing business is not for sissies.

happens to the best of us i usually retrace my steps back to wherever i was when i decided what i intended to do and it comes back to me. been the same way even when i was younger (ok, maybe it happens a little more often nowadays)
