Weird things we find attractive.

This is kind of along the lines of the "Perfect Man/Perfect Woman threads but different enough to warrant its own thread in my humble opinion.

There are a ton of broad qualities in a mate or potential mate that 90% of the population share; kind, humorous, sexy yadda yadda yadda.

What I am curiose about are the unusual, quirky and unique things that you find attractive in a person.

Since I am asking i'll start.

-If she drinks beer from a bottle (if she drinks at all)

-If she can throw a baseball "like a guy"

-If she has some understanding and appreciation of wine

-If she has a favorite hockey team/player

-If she likes big dogs as opposed to little ones

OK at the risk of showing yourself to be as strange as me lets hear it.

Oh wine i cant wait till im 21 my mother has agreed to take me on her travels. She goes to different states to visit different winerys. Now thats my idea of vacation!! Actually i love this Winery in Southern NY. Its called Bully Hill. They Make some great wines we usually come home with a mixed case by the time we are done!!

Ok not big on Hockey!! What about Basketball!! OK i watch Hockey but no Favorite team. I guess i could say the Flyers, but no Favorite Player.

I have German Shepard. does that count as a big dog?

Alright, so I'm not the brightest crayon in the box but I have certain things that will attract me to a guy faster than personality, romantic nature and things of that sort.

-Hair type: Short hair, bald headed...just not long. And color is important. The weirder the better, purple would be ideal.

-An appreciation for hard liquor: Shots shots shots! Rumpleminze, Goldschlagger...if you can breathe fire after you drink it then that's cool!

-If he doesn't have to go out every night. I like men who don't mind sitting in the house doing something by himself occasionally. Like, watch the football game or work on the car. He doesn't have to cling to me all the time.

-An understanding of the kinds of music I like. He doesn't have to LIKE it, just don't knock me for liking it.

-If he likes kids, that's an added bonus because my daughter comes before everyone including me.

-And finally, can he appreciate a good pratical joke? I'm a prankster. I do and say things for shock value, he would have to be able to tolerate that.

Think my standards are too high? LOL

What I find attractive.

A man with an opinion.
Who can cook.
Who likes cats.
Likes country music, but is not a hick.
Can read, and likes to for pleasure.
Who is taller than me and has short hair.
Someone who will ALWAYS answer my emails, even if it is only a one word answer.
A crooked smile that just tugs at your heart and makes you smile in return.
I think that's enough for now.

Have to agree with Southern on this one, I want a guy who's all those things and tough as well. Maybe a former rugby player who has the scars to prove it. I want him to be able to wrestle me out of my clothes and not care if things get ripped. On the other extreme, I want him to be able to buy me damn good presents...not just what the chicks at Victoria's Secret tell him to buy or an unimaginative dozen roses.

I like a woman who:

~ can turn me on with her mind

~ is intelligent, and can keep her ground in a discussion with me

~ sees me for who I am, and not what I look like

~ likes to hug and cuddle a lot

~ can understand why I can get engulfed by a good book

~ don't mind me having great female friends

Those are what I could come up with right now. But I'm sure I have forgotten some.
