Weekly artistic challenge

My next subject was Tempe Gammage Theater. This building is an example of renowned architect, Frank Lloyd Wright.

I had planned to only shoot black and white yesterday, yet another challenge for myself, but the color is so interesting I chose to include color here. AZ is the Copper state and it shows in the buildings of Arizona State University.

Here are final photos which I believed was also a Frank Lloyd Wright design ( I could not find were it says this anywhere, i just always thought it was). It is the former home of a Lincoln Savings and Loan. They were all over AZ for ages, until they became notorious with a scandel.

It certainly looks like a FLW building..but might just be a knock off.

So, as I don't have time to get out and do any photography this week. I found the time to edit one I took near the end of July. Hope editing it just for this gets at least some credit :p

I know the building is a bit small, but was going for the road and tree in the shot as well. Since you can't tell very well, it's a very old grain elevator, it's starting to fall apart. I prefer old ruined buildings over any new architecture here in the city.

What a great roof. I like how you managed to avoid most of the salad ads.

I thought I'd stop by and see what new had been posted. I certainly wasn't disappointed. Great photos everyone. :)
