True, but like many subs here and elsewhere declare, 'I am a submissive and I don't/can't dominate another', which then gets confusing for some. I went through the same process, fought the same demons, jumped to the same misguided conclusions that to do as commanded then made me a switch which I had worked through long enough in my life to know was not who I was or wanted to be. It is not a judgement of right or wrong, good or bad, just who I am.

It was not until I could appreciate his desire for me to submit to this simply to please him, and that it was part of my submission and TPE agreement responsibility to do so, that I was able to come to terms with doing what he asked without fear of being seen as the opposite to who he needed and who he believed me to be.....which to me was a relationship risk in the happiness stakes if he were to begin thinking I was somone I was not. I can now do as he asks because it is part of my submission, he has made clear it in no way changes who I am, and is understood by our play partners before anything ever becomes a possibility......not all can accept or appreciate it, but I am finding there are a significant amount of male subs out there who have been in the same situation before, or can at least get their head around it and embrace the opportunity with open arms, or other body parts.

In essence it is about actions and emotions....swinging a flogger, spanking a butt, or directing/commanding another effectively does not make one a Dominant or switch, as it has to go much deeper than that, beyond actions alone, and be who the person is and sees themselves to be. OK I know it's not the weekend but just have to make a post
