What is the weather like right now where you are living? It seems to me that this winter in the US has been colder and more snowy than usual.

CRaZy
Since the upper east side of the US got more snow last night and this morning and the temperature outside my house is 16 would you mind telling us how nice and HOT Australia is right now. Very descriptively of course. :D

December was a nightmare for snow- we got almost 50 inches and shattered the old record of 30 inches for the month.

January hasn't been that bad. Today is a beautiful sunny day. Bright blue sky. Cold though, in the teens somewhere.

It is extremely warm and sultry right now. I have the window open and a slight, almost imperceptible breeze from the east just takes the edge off the heat. I am actually only wearing a baggy T-shirt, the need for clothing as protection from the elements not being necessary.

I was at the beach today. Blazing sun. Humid air. Flaming, dazzling sand beneath my feet. Miles and miles of endless, cool, mirror-smooth Pacific Ocean at my disposal. Snow? A White Christmas? Bah Humbug!!!

Dam we got hit with another 8 to 12 inches last night of new snow.....Just as it was starting to melt away too.............Dam white shit.

Thanks for the link. Now is there any way you and your "only a tee shirt" can get into that picture :D

Yes... I agree... this winter is definately more snow than usual. At least what's been the usual for the last 15 or 20 years. However this winter does remind me more of what winters were like when I was a child. I remember snow on the ground almost all through the winter... sleding every weekend... building snowmen/women. (Now there's an idea - erotic snow art!!! Can you imagine the possibilities?)...

Maybe its just the exaggerated memories from childhood but I do think this is more indicative of what winter's used to be like than what they have been like in recent years.

It's bright and sunny, but DAMN cold. Temp is 2F with a -9F wind chill. I am waiting impatiently for summer to hit so I can be warm again.

You want me to ruin a perfectly good beach pic by being in it tony??? Gawd. Actually, I was watching a program last night about how the North and South Pole are melting. It is predicted that within the next 50 years, tides will rise to unprecedented levels because of this. Vast amounts of people live only a metre above sea level so this wouldn't be good. The positive side is that there would be less snow and warmer temperatures in cold areas. So there ya go - just wait for those polar ice caps to melt and you'll be singing in the sunshine.

It was hot here yesterday, or it could just have been me. Sunny and clear, too.

However, right now it's a little cloudy and maybe in the high 50's-low 60's.

CRaZy I take it your from the Gold Coast then?

Well in Adelaide it is 39 degrees on a good day right now, too fucking hot and humid to wanna even think of the beach (mind you I hate the beach), and my son and I have spent most of the weekend (it's Monday here) sitting in a cold spa (LOL), fun, I agree, but I just want it to go down to about 30 degrees and I'll be happy.

What you have to remember is that although it's always (even in winter most of the time) sunny here, the Sun CAN and DOES kill so many people here because they don't think that they need protection from it's element's.

I'd rather here about the snow than the heat, make me cool please.

Sunny, warm, mid to high 70's (Fahrenheit, for you metric maniacs). Had a couple days of rain last week, but that's passed.

Currently at 22 degrees Fahrenheit..light snow, no significant accumulation...YEEEEHAAAAAAA, heat wave by next weekend...up to 45 degrees...

hmmm, let's see, the weather here??? As always, no sun, it's cold, it's wet, it's raining(but the when doesn't it?) Just all around nasty and the only time this winter I saw snow was in New Mexico. On X-mas day.

at this very moment, it is like 38 degree and windy....rained from Wednesday until like Midday Saturday, they said the Hi Temp today was 49 but I don't believe them. This week is supposed to get warmer though, into the Upper 50's and might hit 60 if we are lucky.
