Gunner Dailey said:I wasn't saying you...more of a general statement and there are those around it would apply to. Our media is the worse than any single person is. Have you been listening to some of the questions and frustration they have been showing at the press conferences...? It's almost comical. Some reporter named Wolf from the New Yorker stood up at the Press Conference in I think Qatar, and proceeded to blab on about how uninformed they are and questioning why they should even attend the press conferences. The same people wondering why chemical weapons haven't been found yet are the same one's that are wanting the military to divulge every last detail of ongoing operations.
Lovely_Pink_Queen said:Didn't they just find like 3,000 brand new chemical protection suits somewhere is Iraq yesterday? That right there sounds like they were planning soething to me. And what about that mural they found?
ImpWizard said:So what is the USA and Britain doing with CBW suits? Are they also planning something, then?
It's like so what? Maybe they're expecting the US forces to use CS gas and other incapacitants --- that would certainly keep the casualties down if they did. Certainly the war will be a testing ground for the latest range of minimal-lethality weapons when the Coalition gets close to fighting in the large cities.

ImpWizard said:Besides which, much the same could be said about a lot of people here----everyone has an agenda. So what?
8ball said:I don't care what your uninformed points are, pp_man.
Prince Romeo said:But we all watch the spectacle don't we? Why is that? Is it fascination with death and war? Is it patriotism? Is is it hope that we'll hear things have come to a "quick end"? I find myself listening and then saying OK, that's enough. I've heard enough to be informed but I don't need to be glued to this. Is it that we are bored? I don't know. All I know is that I want the facts of what we have done and why. Then I'll make my decisions.
