We Won!

Due in large part to all the AH folks who went and voted, my story, A Special Present, won the weekly competition at, Whipped Cream Reviews.It goes w/o saying, but won't, that I appreciate everyone who helped pull off the upset.

Now the the other news:

It looks like I'll have to "win and run." About nine months ago I had a corneal transplant on my one remaining eye. Now it appears I've manage to add "detached retina" to my list of eye complaints. Until that's resolved, I'll be on "sick leave."

Keep the faith and keep writing.
