Tim Roth was the best Febre yet, we both have a burning desire to read the book. The new guy was pretty good and the fight choreography up to the end was really good. I liked it a lot. The Stud got pissed over the ending.
However, the ending SUCKED ASS. It was highly anticlimactic and the final D'Artangan/Febre fight was like a rehash of Crouching Tiger only with some ladders, too short, and very disappointing. Too much of a good thing is reallllly bad. The only good part of it was the fact that the swordplay was fast and furious, like I image real swordfights to be. It seemed like they were really fighting only they were doing it in a Richeliu era Thunderdome.
