we need to change America - if you are on any government entitlement no vote

Imagine the huge bureaucracy needed to enforce that requirement.

So disabled vets can't vote?

Retired vets?

Retired people?

you are not entitled to vote. this would solve some of our issues

so the military can't vote

the police cant vote

firemean cant work

garbage collectors cant vote

teachers can't vote

the coast guard can't vote

park rangers can't vote

highway workers can't vote

anyone collecting Social Security can't vote

yeah, you really thought this one through

Ooops. Forgot, students with federal grants can't vote.

How about anybody that works for a company that has contracts with the government?

Jen is saying this from the state of Florida where the Republican power base is completely dependent on retired people on government entitlements. I'd love to see Jen's idea enacted and the Democrats gain an instant super-majority there.

Speaking of which, I see that Florida Republicans lost their super-majority in their state congress. That's a shame. Oh and in Texas too, also a shame.

I suppose we would have to sand all that lovely poem stuff from the base of the Statue of Liberty... what with the inconvenient references to the poor and the homeless.

.. shame to waste such a pretty landmark

(I suppose you think we should just carve it out and place a McDonalds inside?)
