we must take guns away from lawful citizens, cops, military, and any and all of government departments.

now American's can be safe and we will only allow criminals to have guns.

Would it be ok to not let convicted criminals buy guns over the internet? or would that infringe on your 2nd amendment rights?

why don't we start with one thing, a simple thing, and by that we must stop the obama from selling weapons to the drug cartels.

Good idea. Not only will we be safer but we'll accomplish your second goal. If you can't sell guns in the states Obama won't be able to sell them to drug cartels. Two birds one stone. Brilliant plan Jen.

Define "convicted criminals". Are we talking any crime or just violent crimes?

Interesting question. Off the top of my head it slightly irks me that we should allow any individual that has decided to break the law access to fire arms.

Albeit they might not have been violent crimes, but they've already demonstrated their willingness to disregard the law.

Out of State transactions must go from a FFL to another FFL, but you are a MORON and don't know that.;)

You can not purchase a gun over the internet without having it shipped to an authorized gun dealer and then having a background check before they let you have the weapon. That is the problem with the anti-gun crowd. They have not idea how it works.

How do you think America gained it's freedom? A bunch of LAW abiding citizens? Do you even know what treason is?

Yet my 14-year-old brother bought a gun from a flea market with no background check. It was .22 rifle that we're going to use for hunting. I knew the guy, but still. My point is, there's no license for that thing, anywhere. And people buy those every day. And the guy selling it to him, if you want to take the idea of, "Well, he was actually selling it to you, Once-ler" knew me. A long time. But doesn't know me well. So as far as he knows he just sold a gun to either a child or an unstable drug addict.

I'm gonna call bullshit on this. You can order from individuals, have it shipped through FedEx, who I know for a fact ships weapons, pay with paypal, and then just... have it.

If you want a gun, you can get a gun. If you want a drug, you can get a drug. If you want an abortion, you can get an abortion. There is absolutely nothing an American wants that we won't find a way to get. These laws are resting their hope on the cultural laziness that we do exhibit. If they can make it more difficult, fewer people will go through it. Because they don't want to go through the trouble. Most suicides are unplanned. Most murders are unplanned. So if you gotta go through the trouble of waiting until the weekend for the flea market to open, or wait on the shipment or whatever, you have to really want to kill that motherfucker. And statistics show that you just don't want to kill him that bad.

From our perspective, shouldn't this be more like, "How did the British Empire lose a huge tract of land, citizens, and power?" I mean, we always think that, of course, we're going to be the noble, underdog rebels, but statistically, isn't it more likely that they're going to be crazy jackholes? Since 1781, has anyone preferable rebelled against the US government? Maybe John Brown, but by and large, violent rebels tend to be awful.

I'm not entirely sold that once you get rid of white washed history that we were right in the Revolution. There is certainly more gray area than we are usually taught.

That doesn't change the fact that if you think we need guns to protect ourselves against the government that it doesn't make a lot of sense if the government can charge you with a crime and take away your weapons.
