We haven't had a themed AV day/week for a while........

Ya know what. I come here to have fun. Sorry if you don't like my comment. As far as my assumption, it was apparently incorrect. Please continue to feel the way you do. I will coninue to feel the way I do regarding him.

I'm through with this particular subject. Thank You.

I think TK's yanking your chain...at least I hope she is. ;)

There's an easier way.

Once your picture is done, click on EXPORT above it on the site.

Tell them you want to export it to a forum, click Medium size, then save.

It's perfect.

:)
Same thing I figured out, where were you last night when I needed help? :D

Mine so close to real it's scary

Have you been around here long enough to make that kind of assumption?
Not to drag this out, as I don't think this thread deserves this sort of jacking, but I've been here long enough to make that assumption about Ami, and I back Sad Angel in her assessment.

I also don't see how the length of time Sad Angel's been here has any pertinence in how she feels or judges someone who maybe have said something cruel, rude or offensive to her. Even one such post, if done badly enough, gives us each right to make up our own minds about a person. We need not have known them for years to decide how we feel about them. You certainly don't know the details of whatever exchange between her and Ami led to that judgement, nor did you bother to ask.

Likewise, having been here a long time doesn't necessarily grant anyone good judgement or freedom from personal biases. So your assessment is as suspect as anyone's. If you think Ami is worth defending as a good human being, then do so with evidence. Ad Hominem attacks are the reason Ami has his bad reputation. And that's what you did here. You attacked Sad Angel, not her argument.

Oh, I don't know. I think an actual "attack" would have been a bit more vicious.

Just to clarify, my remark about her tenure here was in response to her assumption that I've not had the "displeasure" of "meeting" amicus myself. Unless she's gone back through all my posts of the last two years, she has no way of knowing that.

Certainly, she can hold whatever opinion she chooses, as can I. It's my opinion that her comments were harsh and, well, pretty much uncalled for, as I said.

For the record, I wasn't defending amicus at all as a "good" or "bad" human being, but simply as a human being. My opinion of amicus has no bearing on this whatsoever. As I said, my reaction would have been the same no matter whom she was referring to.

And, yes, you did drag this out needlessly. It was over a while ago.

on a brighter note its amazing how much personality everyone has managed to put into their wee mee's.

I have never had the pleasure of a conversation with many of you yet but your mee's really give a great sense of who you are.

Sweetsubsarah seems to be 100% genuine

Good old Bay Area. :D

That's right. I remember once thinking that it was a good thing you weren't too close to the craziness that is LA.

Ah, San Fran Bay. Home to the Zodiac killer, if memory serves. How old are you again, Trom?

:p Just kiddin' . . . .

I'm sure I have no idea what you're talking about. o_O

Besides, San Fran is plenty crazy.

And I'm 27...

Oh goodness, my dad actually took me and my little brother (10), my little sister (15), and me (18) on a drive all around the city after he made me watch "The Zodiac" movie and recounted the gory details to my younger siblings ...

But hell, I'm from SF too and I love it here ... You forgot to mention the Haight/Ashbury! :D

Truth be told I'm about an hour and a half north of San Fran, but it still counts! San Fran is still one of my favorite cities to visit, and always will be.

I didn't want to pull a "double wammy". :p

I'll give you that. San Fran is a beautiful city (in places). Cost of living is a tad bit high for me, but if I had my job and my position there, I'd probably do just as well.

But I gotta be honest. It's the whole earthquake thing. I can handle the air being violent and water being rolling, fire destructive . . . but when the earth I walk on is in danger of being all three . . . .

All I can say is, "God bless Texas." :D

Yes, I have to admit that California living comes at a hefty price

I've only felt one EQ here and that was in '89. I endured one in Reno about a year ago though. :p

The fires are far more destructive than the earthquakes though. We've been having far too many in recent years.
