fourth day of no electricity! no estimate of when it'll be back up.
at least we have heat, more than abunch of people do.
thank goodness for generators.
really mundane thought. we normally do laundry here on saturday. since we haven't had power since friday, the mounds are getting bigger. i sense a long expensive trip to the laundromat in the near future.

oh, the good news! 4-7 inches of snow tonight.

grrrrrrrrrrr, talked with one of the electric companiy's finest. there are crews about three blocks from us, but they're re-intalling wires to houses, not fixing the main transmission line.

Do you usually get snow this time of year. Luckily I haven't had to fly to many cold places lately. Right now I am in sunny CA. Oops didn't mean to say sunny

okay, fifth day of this crap. driving this morning was a riot, tree limbs in the road, low hanging wires, ice on the roads, yuppers, it's spring time in upstate New York.

did you know that somewhere there's a law that states "when approaching non-functioning traffic signals, treat the intersection as a four way stop"?

apparently these assholes here don't know it. they're breezing intersections at 50 mph. not too bad considering the speed limit is 35.
