Home again, home again, jiggedy something-or-other...
Ok. Who's the smart ass who thought it would be funny to have snow on the ground when I got back? Hmmm?? I'm soooo not impressed...
24 hours ago, I was sitting in Margueritaville, having Conk Fritters and wearing a tank top, sandals and shorts and now I'm sitting in my livingroom watching this horrible white stuff fall to the ground.
Last night, I sat in Laguardia airport, across from the gate with flights to Lauderdale and I was sooooo tempted. <sigh>
Anyway. I'm home! Anyone miss me?

A new hair shirt for Somme. This one says Ron Jon's Surf Shop. Man, you can buy anything there! Who'd have thought Flamingoes would look so nice on a hair shirt?
Ohh..Lookie here, a big bag from Jessica Rabbit's Lingerie Shop with stuff for all the Mixes. Or is that Minxees? Either/or. Lace and Silk.. Wooo hoooo!
Tee shirts printed for all the men. One word on the front, and I think we all know what that word is.
Believe me, Sao. Had I known that the weather would be like this upon my return, I'd have stayed another week.

STORM UPDATE
from a high of 180,000 homes with no power, the great power company says we're down to only 80,000 again.
of course I'm still one of them. anybody want a frigo full of spoiled food? how about an office that's 34 degrees with no lights?
anyway, it'll get better, hell the only way it can get worse is if the gas station loses power and I can't get fuel for the generator. atleast the main part of the house has heat and the coffee pot works.
haven't been able to even call LB, anybody sees her, make sure she's ok.
not a damn regular phone in this house. all cordless and all need electricity to work. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Sao, put a conventional phone in that care package for Dalt so he can phone people.
Dalt, you need what we have on the wellsite... a 40 foot trailer parked about 50 feet away with a BIG generator in it. All the power you could ever want... as long as someone remembers to fuel it up
