We can NOT have 1 class of people paying

Bullshit. More like basic services at the highest costs possible per citizen.

Why do you say that? Look at the largest government service, Medicare. Medicare sets a provider reimbursement rate that's basically the lowest Congress can get away with without receiving too much public backlash from seniors complaining that not enough doctors accept it. The result is that Medicare costs less per unit of service than private sector insurers. And its prescription drug payments are set by surveying the private sector for the average market rate and then multiplying it by .95.

I don't usually do this, but I focused only on this part of your response to jeninflorida.

No matter how you think you don't pay for those services, you do. No matter how it is collected and redistributed for BS reasons, you still pay. And I think those professions mentioned do indeed deserve it. And if they are in said professions, they do not want to know anything of creating wealth; being wealthy is not their main objective in life.

^^^^^Don't take it personally. I understand your points, but I simply disagree with both of you overall.

Two things. First, you don't disagree with me. You're arguing to argue. We don't walk up and pay for any of those services. I think they deserve it too, you just didn't read the conversation or you did and chose to ignore the tone.

Creating wealth, in this case is Jen's made up term. It pretty much only applies to business starters. It has nothing to do with being wealthy. In Jen's mind a cop making a billion dollars a year isn't a wealth creater, but a manager at a Circle K is because they employ the cashier. It's hard to wrap one's head around.

Two, again if you followed the post you'd know I didn't mean any disrespect to police or any other service member, nor was I denying we "pay" for it, I even specifically mentioned the method.

:D Sometimes it's a shame we can't directly personally purposefully do that. Or else I'd be the happiest dude on the planet.

We have places where you can do just that. It doesn't seem to work out to well. Remember last year and the year before when houses burned down while the Fire Department watched? And they watched because you have two choices in those areas, 65 dollars a year or 1000 dollars an hour, but they had to show up because the neighbors DID pay and deserved to have their homes protected. It's simply not good system to let people opt out of certain programs.

of course its the highest costs, as "government" is in charge of the process. people go into government jobs to avoid hard work, accountability, and responsibility.

those in government do not care how much something costs
