This election was never about trump vs Biden. It’s always been trump vs a continuation of American democracy. Baltimore sees ‘notably greater’ declines in gun violence into 2024
By about this time last year, Southwest Baltimore’s Penrose/Fayette Street Outreach neighborhood had seen 15 shootings, six of which were fatal.

This year, as of June 24, the community of aging two-story rowhouses and vacant lots stretching from Grace Medical Center to the westside MARC station saw two gun homicides and one nonfatal shooting.

It is among the Baltimore neighborhoods seeing the sharpest declines in year-over-year gun violence, one piece of a citywide effort to drive down gun violence that’s seeing results. A Baltimore Sun review of public data reflects that the first six months of 2024 likely will see the city’s lowest levels of gun violence during that period in a decade, following a more than 10% drop in gun homicides and shootings from 2022 to 2023.

The city is on pace in 2024 for fewer than 200 homicides, and, so far this year, also has seen decreases in the number of young shooting victims, after troubling spikes.

The presidents have always had immunity for official acts performed while in office and there is a history of presidents being a little underhanded going back as far as Jefferson and arguably Adams. The courts decision was spot on and the democrats are going to rue the day they forced the issue.

In the mean time we have to listen to, "Pack the court", "Impeach them", along with other remedies emanating from the fertile minds of people that seem to be permanently lodged in the 6th or 7th grade.

Heinz Guderian tells a story in his autobiography of attending a top level meeting in mid-1941 with a bunch of army folks and government minions. If the Dems don't find a candidate who can win, they're going to have to pull some serious shit outta their asses to get doddering old fool Uncle Joe Willie through the inauguration, hoping he lives that long. Barring that, the only packing they'll be doing is each others' fudge.
