And some of us have been here since Lit dirt was young and have actually made a few friends. Twenty years and change, and yes, Wat does math. He also knows shit that you pissants don't. Hell, we used to get together and get all drunk and silly and shit. You know, road trips. I even have an invite out there for a couple of (mostly former) Litfolk to come over for a visit later this year, if possible.


Of course, in those days, we got a much better grade of newcomer. Most of what we get any more falls under the heading of fresh puke.


So there sre a few tidbits for some of you know-it-all know-nothings. Maybe I should post my world famous weasel casserole recipe.

How are you doing? I don’t think I’ve spoken to you at all this new year. Happy 2024! You and your girlfriend are always doing fun and interesting things and I know the 2024 will be no different.

Doing fine-- makin' hay while the sun shines. Winter is the perfect time to get things done outdoors in AZ.

1 pint of sour cream
1 can of peas - the good kind
1 can of condensed cream of celery soup
1 bag of wide noodles
1 medium large onion, diced
1 cup of your favorite marinara sauce
1 pound of the diced weasel, browned.
salt
pepper
Dash
a bit of your favorite hot sauce.
a bit of your favorite Italian dressing
a lot of grated cheese


Brown the weasel, cut the onion, boil the noodles, and toss all of that stuff into a substantial mixing bowl. Stir thoroughly. Install the first layer into a 9" x 13" casserole dish and put a payer of grated cheese on top. Install the rest of the casserole filling and put more cheese on top. Put the dish into a preheated oven at 350*F and bake for 40 minutes.


If you fuck this up, you should die of starvation.

While it's true the stories are an extremely important section of Lit, having members also drives income on ad revenue. You don't have to join the site to read, but you do have to join if you wish to interact. So no, my interactions ( and every other member) also help drive the revenue stream.
